Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair. Souled Out '98. This feud stems from Flair taking offense to Bret calling himself the best ever. Flair, who's a 13-time Champ, thinks he's the best of all-time. Flair wrestled Bruiser Brody in Singapore for a whole hour. He's wrestled around the world. Let's see if The Hitman can top those feats!

Bret with a side headlock takedown. Flair gradually gets up and grabs Bret's leg to try a knee-breaker but doesn't have success. Bret with a scoop slam and a side headlock. Flair pushes Bret against the corner and, surprisingly, gives him a clean break. Bret uses Flair's own finisher against him, the figure-four.

Flair's on the edge of the ring apron for a respite. Bret suplexes him back into the ring. Bret with a rear chinlock and a side headlock. Flair counters with a side suplex. Flair drops down for a bodydrop attempt and Bret counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Bret with a side headlock and a running bulldog. Bret with an Enziguiri to the back of Flair's head. Flair isn't deterred as he tries a figure-four. Bret inside cradles him. Flair climbs the top for an aerial move. Bret, who's been playing possum all along, picks him up for a military press. Bret with an elbow off the second turnbuckle. Bret with a superplex and a sharpshooter for the win. The final spots was a repeat of their WWF title match finish.

(c) Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect for the I-C title. It's from Coliseum Video's Invasion '92. Bret begins with a side headlock. Flair picks him up for a side suplex but Bret holds on with a side headlock takedown. Flair, on his back, lifts Bret and pins him for a one-count. Collar-and-elbow tie-up. Flair with a side headlock, a go-behind and a hammerlock. Bret counters with a hammerlock and a side headlock. Flair uses his brute strength to break free.

Bret with a wristlock and a standing headbutt. Bret runs off of the ropes and Flair catches him in a sleeper. Bret with an inverted Atomic drop. Flair with a knee-breaker. Flair with a figure-four and grabs the second rope to inflict more damage. Flair tries to suplex Bret onto the ringside floor. Bret suplexes Flair back into the ring. Bret with a sharpshooter but he was too close to the bottom rope. Flair tries yet another suplex but Bret gets behind him and counters with a victory roll. Flair briefly stops Bret's offensive flow with a side headlock takedown. Bret counters with a head scissors, gradually gets up and backslides Flair. Bret dominates, but this has been a well-wrestled, technical match.

Bret's European Uppercut sends Flair over the top rope. Flair tries to piledrive Bret on the arena floor. Bret counters with a back bodydrop. They're both on the ring apron trying to get back into the ring. Perfect sneaks up behind Bret and pulls his leg, causing him to fall backwards. Flair returns to the ring to win by count-out.

Sting vs. Lex Luger w/Elizabeth in a lumberjack cast match. Uncensored '00. The lumberjacks had their arms broken by Luger, so they were seeking revenge. The match stunk and followed a predictable script: Luger sneak attacks Sting as he enters the ring. Sting outbrawls Luger. Luger pleads for mercy. The Luger-backed lumberjacks brawls with the Sting-backed lumberjacks in the aisle. Luger picks Sting up for a Torture Rack. Vampiro comes in the ring and hits Luger with a baseball bat. Sting finishes off Luger with a Scorpion Death drop for the win.

The only silver lining was Vampiro was able to get himself over.

Hulk Hogan vs. (c) Ric Flair vs. Sting vs. DDP for the World title. Randy Savage is the special guest referee. Spring Stampede '99. Sting has DDP in a Scorpion leglock early in the match.. DDP with a side headlock on Sting. Sting tries a hip toss; DDP blocks it and tries a hiptoss of his own. Sting doesn't budge. DDP counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Sting with a flying clothesline and a Stinger Splash.

Flair with a figure-four on Hogan. DDP breaks it up. DDP, then, wraps Hogan's legs around the ring post and puts him in an upside-down figure-four. Hogan is injured. Danny Young and Head of Security Doug Dellinger escort Hogan to the dressing room. Now, it's a three-way. Sting pummels Flair while DDP smartly bids his time. DDP with a discus lariat on Flair. Sting Irish whip Pages to the corner and connects with yet another Stinger Splash. Sting super-plexes Flair, but the Stinger has gotten the worse of it. Flair with a sleeper on Sting. DDP comes behind Flair and puts him in a sleeper. A double sleeper-hold!

Flair with successive short knees to Sting's inner thigh. Flair with a figure-four on Sting. Sting is pumped and gets to the ropes. Savage grabs both of Flair's arms while he still has Sting in the figure-four position and pulls him to the center of the ring. Savage climbs the top and connects with a flying elbow on Flair. Flair can't muster any offense and DDP beats him with a Diamond Cutter to become the new champ.

DDP picked and chose his spots well.

Sting vs. Ric Flair w/Arn Anderson. Nitro 4-12-99. Sting leapfrogs over Flair and picks him up for a pair of military press slams. Flair, screaming in pain, can make you believe he was legitimately hurt. Sting with a standing dropkick. Flair tosses him out of the ring. Sting gets up on the ring apron, stuns Flair with a shoulder-block to his mid-section, and follows it up with a top rope sunset flip. Flait struggles to stay upright, so Sting pulls his tights down, forcing him to fall backwards. This spot was similar to Flair's 1992 match with Bret Hart.

Flair with a wristlock and resorts to pulling Sting's hair to keep him down. Ref Charles Robinson sees it and doesn't reprimand Flair. Sting's right hook knocks Flair down. Flair sold that punch well.

Flair with a knee drop. He attempts another knee-drop, Sting blocks it by grabbing his leg and putting Flair in his own finisher, the figure-four. Sting tries a splash off the ropes, but Flair puts his knees up. Flair climbs the top for an aerial move. Sting moves in and picks him up for a military press. Flair smartly grabs Sting's hair while in mid-flight, which also causes The Stinger to fall.

Flair tries a suplex. Sting slides out and counters with the Scorpion Death Drop. A reluctant Charles Robinson makes the count.

(c) Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Shingo Takagi for the IWGP World title. Power Struggle. Shingo with a front facelock, then a waistlock. Sabre rolls him over. He grabs Shingo's wrist and attempts an armbar submission. Sabre can slide out of his opponent's holds and counter with a submission move right out of the blue. Sabre with a three-quarter Nelson and a side headlock.

Shingo tries a Fireman's Carry on the edge of the ring apron. Sabre fights him off with quick boots to his jaw. Shingo tries again for a Fireman's Carry but Sabre gets his feet back in the ring and counters with an over-the-top rope sleeper.

Sabre with a guillotine choke, Shingo breaks free with a back body-drop. Shingo tries the Hennig-Axe but Sabre grabs his wrist and puts him in a Clarky cat. Sabre with a Tornado DDT, keeps him in a front facelock, and executes a Zack-driver. He holds onto Shingo's leg and clamps on a knee-bar. Sabre with a short dropkick to the knee and follows it up with a Zack driver for the win.

Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair. 11-30-91. Surprisingly, there were a number of "We Want Flair" chants from the crowd. A furious Hogan chases Flair outside of the ring. Fair gets back into the ring and stomps away on Hogan. Flair with knife edge chops and forearm shots. Hogan fights back with punches, knife edge chops, and knocks Flair down with a clothesline. Hogan with a side headlock. Flair tries a hip-toss. Hogan clotheslines him. Hogan clotheslines Flair over the top rope. Hogan takes the fight to Flair outside of the ring. Hogan with a suplex. Hogan clotheslines him over the guard rails.

Flair climbs the top for an aerial move; Hogan picks him up for a press slam. He mows Flair down with a clothesline. Flair side suplexes Hogan. Hogan doesn't feel it and mows him down with another clothesline. Flair fights back with reverse knife edge chops and an over-hand right.

Hogan with a succession of rights, a boot and the Atomic legdrop. He pins Flair who gets his foot on the rope. Flair works on Hogan's left leg. Flair with a figure-four. Flair knocks Hogan out with brass knucks, which was handed to him by his executive consultant Mr. Perfect. Flair pins an unconscious Hogan for the win. Official Tony Garea sees it and tells the ref to reverse the decision. A second referee finds the foreign object in Flair's tights and disqualifies him.

Not much in terms of scientific wrestling. A lot of clotheslines, eye pokes, and brawling. But the fans were cheering.

Survivor Series Elimination Match, Survivor Series 2009
John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Evan Borne, Finlay vs
The Miz, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler

Team Future Stars vs Team wasted potential. Every member of Team Miz would go on to win the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship. No one on Team Morrison would. Highlights of this match include Borne getting a pin on Ziggler following a Shooting Star Press. Only to immediately afterwards get a Future Shock DDT from McIntyre and be eliminated. Sheamus eliminated Finlay with a Brough kick. McIntyre also got a pin on Matt Hardy. At one point in the match Morrison hits Starship Pain on Swagger and goes for a pin and McIntyre and Sheamus run in to break up the pin. In the process, Sheamus accidently delivers a knee to the back of the head of referee Scott Armstrong. Armstrong had to put up the X sign for himself while holding his head, and another referee had to come out and replace him. Sheamus got the final pin on Morrison resulting in Sheamus, McIntyre, and The Miz being survivors in this very good match.
