(c) Kerry Von Erich vs. Mr. Perfect for the I-C title with Roddy Piper as a special guest referee. 11-24-90, Madison Square Garden. Perfect backs him up against the corner and tries to sneak in a punch. Piper grabs Perfect's arm; Kerry takes advantage of a defenseless Perfect by knocking him down with a punch to his jaw. Kerry connects with a discus punch to his gut.

As Piper is distracted checking up on a beaten Kerry, Perfect pulls off the turnbuckle padding. Perfect has him hurt and wants to slam Kerry against the exposed turnbuckle. But it is Kerry who reverse Irish whips him against the exposed turnbuckle. Perfect with a sleeper. Perfect with a well done, inside cradle. Perfect with a slingshot, belly-to-back suplex but Von Erich lifts his shoulder up before the count of three to retain his title. Both of Perfect's shoulders were down.

A lot of Irish whips, brawling, and comedic moments, such as Piper touching Hennig's nads before the match to make sure he wasn't carrying any foreign objects. But in terms of their rivalry for the Intercontinental title, this was their best match.

(c) Shingo Takagi vs. Ryohei Oiwa for the NEVER Openweight title. King of Pro Wrestling 24. Ryohei with a sneak attack dropkick on Shingo. He then focuses on Shingo's left arm. Shingo with a standing reverse elbow, a right jab and DDT. Shingo with a vertical suplex and reins successive elbows on Ryohei's neck. But his double knife edge has no effect on Ryohei as he runs off of the ropes and knocks the champ down with a running shoulder-block. Ryohei with a sharp splash off the top.

Shingo with a standing clothesline. He connects with successive forearm shot but misses a wild right hook, Ryohei counters with a German. Ryohei with a Delta Bomb. Shingo with an explosive side suplex. Shingo with a lariat and a sit-down powerbomb. He defeats Ryohei with the Last of the Dragon to retain.

The time was 10:43 but, given the fast-paced action, it felt longer than that.

Hirooki Goto vs. (c) David Finlay for the Global Heavyweight title. King of Pro Wrestling 24. Finlay picks Goto for what looks like a vertical but then just gingerly tosses him on the canvas. Goto with a reverse Irish-whip to Finlay against the turnbuckles. As he rushes in, Finlay counters with a kick to his chin.

Goto picks Finlay up for a Fireman's Carry; Finlay lands on his feet and counters with a Northern Irish Crush. Whatever Goto tries, Finlay has an answer for it. Finlay with forearm shots to Goto but Goto is pumped. Finlay tries a spinning clothesline; Goto counters by grabbing Finlay's arm and executing reverse GTR. Finlay buckle-bombs him, but Goto knocks him down with a clothesline. Goto with a Shouten Kai. This is when Gedo interferes. The ref is distracted, so Finlay nails Goto with a Shillelagh and puts him away with an Overkill.

It's more emotional because Goto's children were sitting in the front. His daughter was crying.

(c) Jay White vs. Hangman Page for the IWGP US Title. Strong Style Evolved. White stuns Page with a running forearm. Page with a backdrop suplex. Page with a kneelift to White's gut. He runs off the ropes but is met with a standing dropkick from White. What a recovery from The Switchblade!

Page drapes White's neck over the second rope and executes a neckbreaker.. Page with a ball-and-chain Half Nelson and converts it into a suplex. White tries to leapfrog over Hangman, who catches him in mid-air and counters with a back-breaker. White attempts another leapfrog, drops to one knee, but quickly recovers and stuns Page with a back elbow. White wants to finish Page off with a belly-to-back suplex off the top, but Page desperately fights him off. White with a Kiwi Crusher but Page kicks out. White eventually finishes him off with the Blade Runner to retain.

Page gave a good account of himself here. Quite a number of high risk spots. White executes a belly-to-back on Page on the edge of the ring apron and tosses him onto the ringside floor!

Kyle Fletcher and Takeshita v Ricochet and Will Hobbs.

Seems possible that if Hobbs joins the Hurt Syndicate it will be unstoppable and finally get Hobbs over as it's been stop then start a few unfortunate injuries have hindered him.

Wouldn't mind knowing where Wardlow is as well. Brian cage is getting pushed again and Wardlow should get the same opportunity as he's way better than any of the said wrestlers I've just mentioned but that's just my opinion.

(c) Bret Hart w/British Bulldog vs. Bob Backlund w/Owen Hart for the World title. Survivor Series '94. Bret with a scoop slam, a hip-toss, and an armdrag at the start of the match. The Hitman connects with a standing headbutt and Backlund comedically oversells it. Bret with a running bulldog and cinches on a side headlock. Bret with successive elbows to the back of Backlund's head and a European Uppercut. The Hitman is so sharp with his moves while Bob hasn't mounted any offense yet.

Backlund tries a chicken-wing. Bret counters with a go-behind waistlock, a rear chinlock and a side headlock. Backlund eventually gets some offense going with an armbar. Bret scoop slams him, but Backlund keeps the armbar in-place. Bret tries a backbreaker in an attempt to break the hold; Backlund still holds Bret's wrist and clamps on a wristlock.

Bret with a stepover toehold and converts it into a tightly wrapped figure-four. He has the figure-four on for awhile but Owen refuses to throw in the towel. Backlund Irish-whips Bret to the turnbuckles. He rushes in, Bret moves out of the way and Backlund slams his shoulder against the ring post.

Bret with a piledriver, a side Russian leg-sweep and an elbow. The end is near: Bret has him in trouble with a sharpshooter. Owen runs into the ring and breaks it up. This gives Backlund the break he was looking for: A melee has ensued as Davey Boy was chasing Owen around the ring, Bret is distracted and Backlund takes advantage with a chicken-wing. Davey Boy is out cold and is no position to throw in the towel. Owen pleads with his parents to throw in the towel. Stu refuses, but Helen throws it in. Backlund had that chicken-wing on for over nine minutes.

This was a fine scientific match. 45-year old Backlund's World title win was meant to coincide with 45-year old George Foreman's win over Michael Moorer.

Hulk Hogan v The Rock at Wrestlemania 18. The most interesting match not in terms of wrestling but how they both had to change roles between the match. It was incredible to just rewatch though I should implore don't watch on YouTube it has more adverts on than I've ever witnessed in all my years watching wrestling on YouTube. Easy twenty adverts, easy. But the way they both had the crowd in the palm of both there hands was something to behold.

It's why it's my favourite wrestling match of all time, yeah we might all have different ones but this has gave me an idea about how to vote for all members to see where they ordered which matches I think that's great to what others think.

Sally The Farmer's Daughter vs Col. Ninotchka (Original Ladies of Wrestling S1 E1 on Tubi)

The main event of the streaming season. Sally attempts to give her farming hat to the Russian as a kind gesture, but Ninotchka wouldn't be caught dead in it and shoves it onto Sally's head and delivers a snapmare, breaking the hat in the process. Ninotchka slams the back of her head to the mat, suplex rolls her, leads her by the hair into an irish whip, and hoists her onto one shoulder. She carries her around and shouts "Is this the best you can do?" but her words seem to target the American crowd. She dumps her on her back. She grabs Sally by the hair again and whips her into a corner. But when Ninotchka meets Sally at the turnbuckle, Sally raises her Daisy Dukes and delivers a headscissor takedown to the Russian. Sally lifts Ninotchka by the hair and drives her head into the adjacent turnbuckle. She headlocks the communist and attempts a bulldog with assistance from the middle turnbuckle, but Ninotchka breaks the hold. Sally somersaults and is caught up in a cradling hold like you would a sleeping child. Sally cradle tosses Ninotchka. The Russian is losing patience more than she is hurt, slapping at the mat. Sally goes for the hair again and irish whips the Colonel into two knee strikes and another head scissor takedown. Sally keeps the hold in place for a moment but The Russian escapes. Sally grabs her hair again, but Ninotchka reverses and sends her into the turnbuckle Sally gave the first headscissor takedown at. Sally goes for the headscissor a third time but Ninotchka moves out of position, Sally gets on top of Ninotchka's shoulders, poses for the fans, and delivers a forward head scissor roll. She keeps the move locked, rolling 3 times before release. Ninotchka is pinned, gets the 2, and Ninotchka lifts them both off the ground, commentary getting over how Sally landed on Ninotchka's fist when she went for the pin. Ninotchka dumps her and takes her time before irish whipping the farmer and body slamming her.

Suddenly the GLOW jam plays and Col. Ninotchka gets an inset promo. She raps about being back for a 3rd season and having conquered America due to being the champ. Meanwhile the commie stall suplexes Sally and goes for a unique pin - squatting one leg down on top of both of Sally's legs. She gets the W but both competitors are back on their feet. The announcer calls the match for Ninotchka but she takes the mic from him. She tells GLOW "Next time don't send a child to do a woman's job" and leaves by stepping over the top rope like the bad ass she is. Sally also victory poses for the fans because I'm assuming she ain't got the sense God gave the goose.

5 Stars.

(c) Tetsuya Naito vs. Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World title. King of Pro Wrestling 24. They engage in a knuckle lock. Sabre spins, grabs Naito's wrist, and takes him down with a leg trip. Sabre with a Fujiwara armbar and turns it into a backslide. Sabre has the uoper-hand early in the match. Sabre with an armbar, a hammerlock, and a head scissors. Sabre stretches out Naito but doesn't stay on any hold for too long.

Naito with a single-leg grapevine. Sabre rolls on the mat and counters with a Texas Cloverleaf. Naito tries an Enziguiri, which Sabre ducks. Naito holds Sabre in a belly-to-belly position and pushes him against the corner. Naito keeps Sabre in a Rude Awakening position for several seconds before putting him down with a neckbreaker.

Sabre with a boot and a European Uppercut. He runs off of the ropes, but Naito counters with a side headlock and a Puma Blanca submission hold. Naito attempts a Destino but gets caught with a European uppercut. Sabre tries another European uppercut and Naito counters with a backslide. Sabre with a Zack-driver but only gets a two-count. He does another Zack-driver, this time more sharply executed, to defeat Naito for the title.

Sabre holds Naito's wrist in a sign of sportsmanship. The fans, surprisingly, give the new champ a huge pop!

He keeps Flair down with an armbar. Flair counters with a drop toehold and a front facelock. Bret easily slides out and counters with a hammerlock and successive knees to his back. Bret with a slingshot sunset-flip on Flair, who fights to stay upright. Flair with a knee-breaker. Flair tries a hiptoss, Bret counters with a backslide.Bret clamps on a sleeper. Flair knee-drops the top of Bret's forehead, but Flair was the one who was writhing in pain. Flair with a knee-breaker and a figure-four. Flair tries a move off the top. Bret was playing possum all along. He picks Flair up for a military press. Bret with a back-breaker and an elbow off the second turnbuckles. Bret with a super-plex and a sharpshooter. Perfect gets up on the ring apron in a desperate attempt to distract the ref but to no avail. The ref sees Flair submitting and calls it.

Not as bad of a match as Flair and Hart have said it was in their shoot interviews. Actually, it was a good match. Technical wrestling at the start of the match, and counters to each other's holds in the latter half.
