Chris Candido vs. Jerry Lynn. Lynn hiptosses and dropkicks Candido. Candido tries a leapfrog; Lynn kicks him in the nuts. He stuns Candido with a hurricanranna. Candido with a swinging neckbreaker. Candido connects with an Alabama Jam off the second turnbuckle. Candido with a Tiger driver. A fast-paced match. Candido picks Lynn up for several seconds before dropping him with a vertical suplex. Lynn missile dropkicks Candido. Lynn tries an aerial move from the edge of the ring apron but accidentally smashes against the steel rails without Candido touching him.

Lynn forces Candido to tap to an armbar. Joey Styles said Lynn didn't have the armbar fully extended. Candido seemed legit hurt. Lynn checked to see if Candido was okay.

Hiromu Takahashi vs. Mustafa Ali. Capital Collision. They start by taking turns trying to pin each other. Takahashi Irish whips Ali, face-first, to the ring post. Ali pretends to be hurt. When Takahashi picks up his doll Daryll, Ali stuns him with a DDT.

Ali with a stepover toehold and a guillotine choke. Takahash with a hurricanranna and clothesline's Ali in the corner. Ali misses a 450 splash but lands on his feet. Takahashi body-drops Ali to the turnbuckle pads. Takahashu runs right into a superkick, but recovers and clotheslines Ali. Ali stretches him out in a crucifix powerbomb position and converts it into a flapjack. Takahashi with an underhook, piledriver. Takahashi pins Ali but Ali kicks out by kipping up! An unusual way to kick out of a pin. Takahashi puts him away with the Timebomb.

(c) Gabe Kidd vs. Lio Rush for the Strong Openweight title. Capital Collision. The Washington D.C. crowd is cheering for Rush. Kidd with forearm strikes. Kidd with a headbutt and a belly-to-belly suplex off the top! Rush flung himself across the ring and sold the move. Kidd accidentally knocks himself out with a chair shot, which was meant for Rush. Rush takes advantage with a frog splash.

(c) The Steiners vs. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams & Terry Gordy for the WCW Tag team titles. Beach Blast '92. Gordy with a go-behind waistlock and a takedown on Scott Steiner. The feeling out process has become an amateur wrestling contest. Scott keeps Gordy down with a half-Nelson. Gordy pushes him to the ropes and connects with an open palm strike. Williams with a drop toehold and a single-leg takedown on Scott. Scott tries a German suplex, Williams counters with an elbow to his jaw.

Rick belly-to-belly suplexes Williams. Rick tries an over-the-top rope sunset flip on Williams. Scott with a front facelock on Gordy and rolls him over for a fisherman's suplex. Gordy's on his backside, but lifts his shoulder up and reaches to Williams to make the tag!

They then take turns wearing Scott down with half Boston crabs. Williams eventually goes for a Texas Cloverleaf. Gordy powerslams Rick off the second turnbuckle. Gordy goes for the pin but he wasn't the legal man. With fifteen seconds left, Scott signals for his finisher. Scott Frankensteiner's Gordy as the 30-minute time limit has expired.

A humorous moment is when Jim Ross said Rick has a degree in Education and Jesse Ventura responded, "Oh yeah, right. Kindergarten?"

Rocky Romero, Sho & Yoh vs. SoCal Uncensored. Strong Style Evolved. Opening match. Christopher Daniels is dressed as a German Kaiser. Scorpio Sky breaks Romero's wristlock by spinning on his back and countering with an armbar. Sky with a double-leg takedown and neckbreaker. Yoh ducks Kazarian's clothesline and connects with his own flying clothesline. Yoh with a snap suplex. Daniels trips Yoh. Kazarian tries to take advantage with a springboard legdrop but botches it badly. He falls hard on the back of his head and injures his left leg.

Kazarian with a front facelock on Yoh and tightens it up to a Guillotine Choke. Daniels with a springboard moonsault on Yoh. Sky misses a splash on Yoh.
Romero springboard dropkicks Kazarian, who's bent over the second rope. In the melee which ensues, Sky accidentally stuns his own partner Daniels with a cutter. Sho with successive German suplexes on Sky. Sho and Yoh put him away with the 3-K.

A few entertaining spots. Commentator Josh Barnett mistakenly called Scorpio Sky as Kazarian at the start of the match.

Bryan Danielson v Kazuchika Okada II was even better than the first match. Didn't think I could say that but here and I am.

Killer Elite Squad vs. Toru Yano & Chucky T. Strong Style Evolved. Davey Boy Smith Jr. pounds away on Chucky until Chucky gets the upper-hand with a boot to his chin. Chucky stretches him out in an Octopus hold. Davey Boy Jr. ducks an Enziguri and counters with a German. The much smaller Chucky tries to piledrive Lance Archer, who easily body-drops him. It was a two-on-one match mostly, as Yano only saw action briefly in a comic relief role against Archer.

Archer grabs Chucky's wrist and walks the top rope similar to The Undertaker. But, instead of going for a flying fistdrop, Archer walks all the way to his partner's corner and makes the tag. Davey Boy Jr. with a unique Boston Crab which targets Chucky's lower back. In a last ditch effort, Chucky crucifix pins him. It's not enough as K.E.S. finishes off Chucky with a Killer Bomb.
