Orndorff attempts a bridge suplex but Bellomo lands on his side and counters with a head scissors.. Orndorff scoop slams him on the floor at ringside. Orndorff's manager Roddy Piper berates Bellomo but never laid a finger on him.

Orndorff took too long climbing the top turnbuckle. Bellomo sees the flying knee coming and moves out of the way. His comeback is short-lived, though, because Ornorff powerslams him. He piledrives Bellomo for the win.

Bellomo was surprisingly competitive for a job guy.

Been a while since I've watched this match, would consider it an all-timer really as far as Survivor Series matches are concerned. Adding NXT at the time in to the fray was such a fantastic decision. The brand was incredibly hot at the time with a lot of really promising talent. Watching it really makes you realise what could have been with Keith Lee on the main roster, his crowd reactions here were insane. His showing as well was amazing, that powerbomb to Roman towards the end was a thing of beauty. Such a well structured match with a lot of great sequences. I think my only gripe at the time was Walter (Gunther) being eliminated so fast. But seeing how successful he is now on the main roster makes me care about that factor a lot less.

Flawless match really. Eddie and Angle have some of my all-time favourite chemistry together. You knew you were in for a mat classic and a lot of excellent technical wrestling when they met in the ring. Perfect clash of wrestling styles and them both being super charismatic gave it that extra layer of flavour too. Just imagine being in that Smackdown crowd that night and just casually getting a match of this calibre. Incredible.

Sgt. Slaughter vs. Iron Sheik. Sheik slaps Slaughter. It gets The Sarge riled up. Slaughter with a scoop slamand a hard stomp to the Sheik's forehead. He does some basic brawling moves and then throws the Sheik over the top rope.

When they're outside the ring. Sheik picks up a chair and slams it onto Slaughter's back. Referee Danny Davis clearly saw but is giving a lot of leeway to the Sheik. Sheik uses his pointed boots as a weapon. Sarge is bleeding. Sheik gutwrench suplexes him. He misses a flying stomp, though, as Slaughter moves out of the way. Slaughter blocks Sheik's suplex. Sarge knocks him down with a lariat, but he then spent too much time trying to unlace the Sheik's boot. It's a repeat theme throughout the match. Instead of covering his man, Slaughter wants to inflict more pain on the Sheik. Sheik shoves the ref down. It's a double disqualification.
