Monday Night Raw 06/04/2012 -Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)

As Vickie is introducing Dolph, Michael Cole storms back out to the announce position. This is a rematch from last week’s SmackDown. Dolph opens with punches but Sheamus fires right back; he looks for a Finlay Roll right off the bat but Ziggler slips free. Dolph tries the Name Dropper but Sheamus blocks mid-move and gets him up for the Finlay Roll again, but again, Ziggler wriggles free, this time into a sunset flip. Sheamus blocks the momentum and grabs Dolph by the throat and hoists him up to finally get that Finlay Roll. Ziggler low bridges Sheamus to the floor but he pulls Dolph to the floor and he plops onto the mat; they fight on the floor and Sheamus tries to toss Ziggler into the steps but he pulls a Kofi Kingston and leaps over them to counter. Dolph slips back into the ring as Vickie gives Sheamus as earful, which allows Ziggler to nail him with a baseball slide as he is attempting to reenter the ring. Back from commercial break, Sheamus is rising out of a chinlock but runs right into a kneelift; he reapplies the chinlock which allows us to see a replay of Ziggler posting Sheamus’ shoulder during the break. Sheamus whiplashes himself free and begins the Irish Hammer comeback with a running knee and powerslam. Dolph fires back and hits a leaping DDT for two; he [Ziggler] looked like he legit hurt himself on the landing. He presses on via top-rope climb; Sheamus cuts him off but Dolph manages to utilize head-butts and elbows to free himself from Sheamus’ grasp. He manages a Name Dropper from the second rope! Sheamus, of course, kicks out. He goes for the Zigzag (or sleeper hold) but Sheamus flicks him off. White Noise! Brogue Kick! Bye-bye Ziggler. Post-match, Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez backjump Sheamus on the ramp and deliver the receipt from a few weeks ago; he applies the cross-arm breaker, dangling Sheamus off the stage while in the hold for added leverage. **1/4

Christian vs Dolph Ziggler from this week's Smackdown. Honestly, I skipped through Sheamus vs Kane, sooooo.. that doesn't count. Therefore Christian vs Dolph Ziggler are the last match watched on my list.

Or was it Antonio Cesaro vs someone? I can't remember.

Monday Night Raw 06/04/2012 - Sin Cara vs. Hunico (w/Camacho)
Well, there is some history here… the Twin Cara angle which lead to a mask versus mask match in Mexico City, Cara got injured and poor Hunico was left directionless and a jobber. Unfortunately, they barely mention any of their history and treat it as a job match. They do some Lucha avoidance in the outset until Cara hits his flip-off-the-ropes armdrag, sending Hunico to the floor. Cara pescados into a hurracanrana and then tries a springboard sunset flip back into the ring but Hunico rolls through and kicks Cara’s head off… for two. Hunico busts out a butterfly backbreaker and then a chinlock. He tries for that short fireman’s carry drop but Cara wings through into an armdrag, he nails a pendulum kick and leaps off the top into another hurracanrana. Hunico tries to hiplock Cara but he bounces off the ropes into yet another variation of an armdrag. A handspring elbow draws Camacho onto the apron specifically to get knocked off. Hunico tries to take advantage but Cara lands on his feet off Hunico’s attempted tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Cara wins with that satellite armbar bulldog. I call it a squash because there was no doubt who was winning. The WWE allowed them to work a loose Lucha style, which is good for Cara, considering this was live television; Hunico was probably the chosen opponent for Raw to cover for Cara’s notorious botching. *1/2

Monday Night Raw 06/04/2012 - Ryback vs. Stan Stansky & Arthur Rosenberg
The jobbers get their initial promo in, which you think that they’d give up at this point. Stansky and Rosenberg actually have a clever little poem saying how they will defeat Ryback. Rosenberg charges first and gets press-backdropped. Stansky tries next and gets tossed into Rosenberg. He hits a long marching delayed vertical suplex to Rosenberg and then tosses him into the corner, he then grabs Stansky and LAUNCHES him into Rosenberg. He splashes them in the corner and levels BOTH of them with the Sheffield Lariat. The jobbers are dead so Ryback scrapes them off the mat for the double muscle buster for the academic pinfall. DUD!
