WCW Worldwide 4/17/1993: T.C. McCoy v.s Scott Norton.

Three closelines and Norton wins. I wanted to see more from the powerhouse and only the first one was all that impressive.

WCW Worldwide 4/17/1993: Hartford Hart v.s Maxx Payne.

Maxx Payne just destroyed the guy from the bell and actually looked pretty legit here. And yes his opponent's name was really Hartford Hart which lead to some interesting comments from Jesse Ventura to say the least.

WCW Worldwide 4/17/1993: Johnny Gunn v.s Bobby Eaton.

Decent little match here. It wasn't really a squash but it still didn't go very long. It was just a mistake by Gunn going for a big crossbody that he missed that set up Eaton hitting a knee drop from the second rope. I was kind of excited for this match when I read it was Eaton/Z-Man in the description but Johnny Gunn certainly isn't Z-Man but they are about the same. I just think if Z-Man was here the match would have got more time. Anderson/Eaton confrontation after the match. Spinebuster on Eaton! Nice moment for me personally.

WCW Worldwide 4/17/1993: William Regal v.s Barry Windham.

Very fun and interesting match. Regal was playing a resilient face for the most of the bout. It didn't pay off in the end, though. Windham was just way too much for him. Regal kept fighting back but there was never a full on comeback that I feel it needed. I guess it puts Windham over like how they wanted to, I just wanted Regal to return the favor because I enjoyed the action immensely. You had two guys just roughing each other up while they preform great exchanges and back and forth chain wrestling. I didn't mind the ending the set up was pretty cool it just was mostly anti-climatic at that point.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - Mike Rotunda vs Z-Man

Pretty good back and forth match, Rotunda played the heel perfectly. Great way to open the PPV, though I didn't care for the ending at all, it was sloppy.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - The Midnight Express & Steve Williams vs The Samoan Savage & The Samoan Swat Team

Decent 6-man, it was slow when the Samoans were in control, which they were for the most part, and then it got sloppy and clusterfucky (that's a new word as of now) when Williams got the hot tag. Cornette hitting Humperdink with his tennis racket was awesome.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - The Cuban Assassin vs Tommy Rich

Rich comes out to "All My Rowdy Friends" by Hank Williams. That's the only highlight of this match, crowd chanted boring almost the whole way through. I guess the Assassins arm work about halfway through was decent, but I had completely lost interest by that point.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - NWA World Tag Team Championships: Dynamic Dudes vs Fabulous Freebirds

Real good match here, Johnny Ace looked the best in it. Funny how the Freebirds were supposed to be the heels, but they got some crazy loud pops and chants during this one while the Dudes were booed.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - Doom vs The Steiner Brothers

This was Doom's debut, so they were masked and we wouldn't be introduced to Ron Simmons and Butch Reed for a few more months. Pretty good stuff, especially since I don't think Doom had too much wrestling experience before this. The ending was pretty funny too as Woman put something in one of their masks to headbutt Rick. Creative to say the least.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - NWA United States Heavyweight Championship: Flyin' Brian Pillman vs Lex Luger (c)

Real good match between these two, thoroughly enjoyed all 15+ minutes of it, thought it could have definitely been better. Ending was very anti-climatic, I just expected much more from it, no way was I thinking the match was ending when it did, but that doesn't take away much.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - The Road Warriors vs The Skyscrapers

Found it hard to stay interested in this match, but it wasn't too bad, and the crowd was hot as hell. The ending was a cheap DQ, which I hate for matches higher on the card, but it was fine.

NWA Halloween Havoc '89 - Thunderdome: The Great Muta & Terry Funk vs Ric Flair & Sting

Man, I hate gimmick matches like this, especially when they don't live up to their gimmick. The cage is supposed to be electrified, but they were all over it the whole match and there was only one instance where it shocked anyone, so that leads me to believe it was probably an accident. Before it got all stupid towards the end, the wrestling in this one was top-notch, which we should all expect when these four are involved, but the gimmick really killed this one. Ending was incredibly stupid too with Ole Anderson making Gary Hart throw in the towel when he did want to. Still a pretty fun match to watch overall though.

WWF Survivor Series '89 - The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake, Dusty Rhodes, The Red Rooster, & Tito Santana) vs The Enforcers (Bad News Brown, Big Boss Man, Honky Tonk Man, & Rick Martel)

Decent enough match here, other than the final one, all the eliminations were fairly smooth and this was pretty fun to watch except for when it got slow about 3/4ths of the way through. Just like most Survivor Series matches around this time, just seeing all the guys in one match made it a fun watch even if the wrestling wasn't solid.

WWF Survivor Series '89 - The 4x4's (Bret Hart, Hercules, Jim Duggan, & Ronnie Garvin) vs The King's Court (Canadian Earthquake, Dino Bravo, Greg Valentine, & Randy Savage)

Terrible match, not fun to watch at all, completely proved me wrong when I said earlier that even if these matches weren't good, they were fun to watch because of everyone involved.

WWF Survivor Series '89 - The Hulkamaniacs (Demolition, Hulk Hogan, & Jake Roberts) vs The Million Dollar Team (The Barbarian, The Powers of Pain, Ted DiBiase, & Zeus)

This was pretty decent, lasted longer than I wished it would and Hogan had a typical hero finish, but it was still fun and the crowd was real hot. And Zeus was eliminated insanely quick, so that's good.
