Yeah first he was taken off because of anxiety then came back but was injured shortly after. While he was injured, all the crap came out about his homophobic comments and porn career. It was rumored that WWE wouldn't bring him back from his injury but they did for like a few months then released him anyway

The feud went on too long. It started out with Sullivan destroying them but eventually they were able to get the upperhand on him. At super showdown he beat them by DQ and then got injured a few days later. Throughout this, he was cutting promos that went on too long and parodied nursery rhymes.

I am not shocked that his personal issues is what caused his release and the guy was a decent big man. I actually like him as a talent and was behind him fully when he was in NXT. I really am going to miss him.
