WWE have been pining for an excuse to fire him since the Big E incident. Despite the fact that Big E himself has forgiven him and said it was partially his fault.

I've read this does only probably cost Ridge... Well Luke Menzies again now, around 2 weeks of wage because that's when his contract was up anyway. So they are just being petty.

Pretty sure he’s signed a contract since the Big E incident.

Oh really? I'd not seen those.

Quite odd then really to give him new deals and THEN demote him all the way down to Evolve.

What a shitty shitty company. Surely it wouldn't cost much to keep paying him until he's back from his injury. You know, considering he got hurt working for you (well, TNA, apparently? but still). Crazy to think this will impact his chances of getting a job in TNA as well.
Petty for sure but I just would have waited until the contract was up to tweet and call it out.

Yeah it's petty as hell. And yes WWE should have just extended his contract through his medical clearance and pay him until he can work again. Both of these are obvious to me.

But publicly shitting on your company is grounds for termination with cause in just about any employment (and I would assume Independent Contract) agreement. So is it really surprising he got terminated? I don't think so.

If I'm AEW or any other rasslin company that can afford to, I would considering paying the guy during his injury rehab just for the goodwill marketing (and in all honesty he isn't a bad performer you can find a place for him when he's cleared).

I seen some wrestlers have donated to a gofundme for him. Chelsea Green has it on monthly to donate 1000. Nick Jackson, Kyle Fletcher are two others i know donated 1000 also.

The Big E incident was almost four years ago, if they wanted to get rid of him him they wouldn’t have got rid of him well before now.

Also got decent pushes on the main roster in that time, including the feud with The Bloodline.
