I can already see the people who think they're the smartest in the room saying people are hypocrites bc they've complained about injury time being added to others in the past and now Ridge isn't getting time added.
Obviously the normal people understand the issue isn't adding or taking away injury time, whether you want that or not varies by person and situation. The issue is that wrestling contracts are stuffed with "team options" and no "player/team options." Once side can literally choose to end the contract early and the other can't. The company can decide that you didn't provide them with the service they wanted because you were hurt so you have to work for them longer, but Ridge can't decide that WWE didn't platform him as long as his contract said they would bc he was hurt. It's very one sided.
I would probably just never add injury time personally, picking and choose when to just feels wrong, like just forcing people to work at a lower rate if you want but if you don't want them, cutting them completely while still hurt.
