CM Punk could be thought of as THE heel in WWE today depending on your opinion but with the gravity of Punk's heel cruisade is it possible that we will see a face shaven Straight Edge Saviour? The reason I ask is because we have seen two of the biggest heels in the WWE turn face (Edge & Orton) but with Punk's amazing and very personal heel promos I think it could be harder for WWE to turn Punk heel due to the fact that he gets people to tune in with his promos and I think his mic skills could be lost with a face turn. So what is your opinion, could it happen, would it happen, should it happen?

I love the CM Punk Straight Edge heel gimmick. It's one of the freshest characters to show up in the WWE in quite some time. It really pushes the boundaries as to what the WWE is willing to do in this current PG environment. I think that he could potentially go down as one of the top heels of all time tbh.

The fact that he preaches sobriety and people hate him for it makes him an amazing character. In the 80's this would've made him Hulk Hogan's sidekick. Today he's a ego-centric zealot and that's awesome.
Cm punk has always and will always be gold on the Mic. A face turn? No hes like 9 months into his heel run and its perfect. Maybe in the future yeah for sure a face turn. But for now relax sit back and watch him evolve into one of the most best promos cutters there is.

I love old School Cm punk vids.CM Punk is the only man I've seen do a promo in the middle of the Royal Rumble and an Elimination Chamber match. Seriously he is awesome. I want him to be the top heel once Swagger loses the belt. Imagine Punk, Edge, and Jericho promos against each other. Just imagine it...
That's the beauty of him using a militant straight edge gimmick. Most militant straight edgers are complete elitist jerkoffs who will not acknowledge the presence of someone who is a beer drinker or sometimes to the more militant drink caffeinated beverages. I've met some in the past at hardcore shows that were just like his character. In Boston & other parts of New England militant straight edgers used to beat the shit out of people at shows for buying a beer. I think that CM Punk & Jericho are currently the best in WWE. They need to give CM Punk longer matches.
^^^^ Being as that Punk is on smackdown i would have thought he would have had longer matches lately. Maybe he is injured cause even his Wm 26 match with Rey was short plus he has not really wrestled that much lately.
They both were in Raven's Gathering for like 5 minutes lol
Back on topic, Jericho and Punk are the top characters in the E at the moment. I honestly would put Punk's slightly ahead of Jericho's because he pushes the PG boundaries more then Jericho does imo. Honestly Punk is one of the only characters in the WWE atm that I think could have not only survived but thrived in the Attitude era.
