with the second tweet, I don't think there's really any rush for a new deal anyways so - would not be too worried here. Not like it's a few months away and a bidding war can take place, and that's a long time to stay over if he wants to play "chicken"

I'm just glad that WWE realise what they have with LA Knight and are puttig him out there in prominent positions on TV. I think they will eventually come to an agreement, he's definitely in a strong position right now to negotiate.

As far as what a 'mega-push' would look like for him, I think it's almost certainly gong to be a mid card title run at this point, and that's far from being a bad thing. If you look at how they're treating the IC title with Gunther at the moment, then giving LA Knight a similarly strong run with the US title on Smackdown would be great to see.
IF he is to win a world title then it would have to involve a switch to Raw to go after the WHC, because nobody's taking the WWE title off of Roman unless your name is Cody Rhodes. Maybe a Royal Rumble win could facilitate giving him a WHC shot at Wrestlemania, which could make for a big moment for him.
