Kurt Angle doesn't strike me as particularly smart or clever. He's a ring technician who gets his main point across well.

God I hope TNA gives him the sendoff he deserves, and then re-hires BI at least, or goes for some of the recently dropped WWE talent. I am an Angle fan and D'z is right, WWE will ruin him for his final run, but this will open a lot of money up for TNA. Let's wait and see if they keep it in their pocket, or spend it on some people who will draw.

Kurt Angle can continue to be vicious when the bell rings, but be very much American Pie outside of it.
Being vanilla has nothing to do with your wrestling style, it has everything with how your character carries himself otherwise.
Daniel Bryan is extremely vanilla, yet he's extremely over despite it. Bryan likes to wrestle and Angle loves to win. Big difference

I'd personally enjoy 'the wrestling machine' gimmick Angle had. That dude was a beast.
