Though they may be big stars on television and draw relatively high ratings, that doesn't necessarily translate into big checks for the stars of TNA's Knockouts division.

In light of Awesome Kong's contractual dispute with TNA Wrestling, multiple sources have noted that the average pay for a female performer in the organization is between $200 to $400 per appearance. However, it's widely assumed that Christy Hemme and Lisa Marie Varon (a/k/a Tara) make more money due to their past ties with World Wrestling Entertainment with sources believing that Kong makes slightly more than $400 per shot, which is considered a "high end salary" in the No. 2 wrestling organization in the world.

It's interesting to note that a female performer who made the "high end salary" of $400, exclusively appeared on television, and appeared on every single television event held over the course of a calendar year would only garner $26,000 at most. Although, that number comes in before one figures in road expenses, wardrobe expenses and taxes. Regarding travel, TNA solely covers airfare, leaving talent to cover the rest including lodging. Also note, there is no downside guarantee, thus meaning talent only get paid when they are used.

Wow, that's pretty awful..lol. My friends who work the indie circuits make that per appearance.

Dude that sucks total ass. 26K a year? That is terrible especially for what they do.

Wow. They waist time making a Knockouts Tag Team Championship even though they get paid horse shit. I think the Knockouts (in exception to the Beautiful People) are better than the divas too. They deserve a higher pay.

This is pretty terrible! I mean they nearly redeemed themselves by paying for airfares, but that's it? On that salary, everything else should be payed for. Fuck, just go back to the indie curcuit and make that dosh, maybe save some money...

Funny, because Awesome King is better than about 97% of TNA.

Where's all this money Dixie allegedly has? The male talent that isn't paid by Spike, which is basically everyone who hasn't been employed by WWE, doesn't make much more, and moreover, TNA jews alot of their talent out of doing Indys, shows they need to help their income, because TNA doesn't pay well, Spike does, but not TNA. There's a reason alot of Indy guys have said "Fuck TNA", guys like Aires, Punk, Danielson, Low Ki and so on were making more in the indies, exposure be damned.

From what I've heard Mick Foley is under SpikeTV's payroll. The highest paid talent in the company that TNA was paying themselves was Sting who was making $500,000 a year which is around the same as a WWE upper mid-carder.

Is sting still getting paid? I mean is he even on TNA's payroll now?

Damn; I could earn a better equivalent wage over here by working at Burger King!

Yup. He was currently supposed to be appearing and involved in this whole AJ/Kurt/Hogan storyline but he had some sort of family emergency. Bishoff mentioned it in an interview.

No wonder guys like Y2J, DDP, RVD, etc were skeptical of coming to TNA, they pay nothing compared to WWE. I wonder how much WWE divas make

I heard around 150-200k for the more marketable ones...Mickie, Maria, Beth, Michelle, ect.

If TNA really wants to sign someone and they can't afford them they'll look to SpikeTV to foot the bill on them. They picked up Mick Foley only because he already had some sort of contract doing stuff with Spike. Next to Hogan he's easily the highest paid guy in the company. I've got a friend who lived on the same block as Mick, the guy doesn't spend a dime. He's saved 90% of his money from wrestling so I'm sure he's probably got a pretty nice nest egg he's sitting on.

The problem is that right now probably 70% of their funds is going to revamping the product and making changes instead of paying the actual roster. So I'm sure most of these guys are sticking around hoping for a heavier pay check in the near future.
But as said, this isn't WWE...just because you've got a contract doesn't mean you make X amount per year. A lot these guys in TNA are paid on per appearance deals.
WWE does the opposite... they give you X amount per year and whatever shows and appearances you miss are deducted from your salary. And PPV's of course hold bonuses. LOL...see Orton's 500,000 Mania paycheck.

OMG I heard about that lol

TNA might need to get investors and advertise. Like put some company logos on the side of the ring.
