Please tell me how the obvious connection is that Smark and Jeff are teamed? The only way it's obvious is if you already have all the answers, aka Dead QT heroism.

1) why would he protect jeff?
2) you’re reading him scum ON PLAY so how does this clear him or change that in ANY WAY?

I don't think this is really constructive. It was possible to solve, but you're not really helping him get to the point of solving it.

I watched him because if he was town I felt he was the safest kill as the other people should be protected. I didn't think he warranted protection over the other players, but it made sense in a WIFOM way.

any and all prodding i do to anyone i find understandable and i only care about the end result. as i said in the dead qt, it's easy to say "why question the vig, dumb shit" when the person is wrong and then also say "why is no one questioning the vig while there's missing kills" when the vig is fake. you guys just lost to a cop last game, no? there is no harm in prodding to test for reactions. well there was here, but i couldnt account for flay.
