New York Knicks Coach, Mike D'Antoni has resigned from his coaching job. Assistant Mike Woodson was promoted to interim head coach and led the Knicks to a 121-79 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

This is really a shocker, did not see this coming at all. New York must be having bigger problems than I thought.

See, I didn't even know about that. I haven't watched as much basketball as I'd like to at all this year.

Knicks sure have rebounded for the last year and half, I'd say from where they were. They have a lot of star power to build around and can probably be a threat. Dantoni was a good coach when this team just need to stabilize but with his coaching style he'll never win the playoffs. His run and gun style would get exposed so if the Knicks really want to succeed I think this was a good move. Dantoni I'm sure will get another chance to waste a team's time.

Knicks obviously are better without him as seen by the games they're winning now. Yes its always the coach cause you really think they're going to let go of Melo?
