Ok this legit looks more unreservedly promising to me than maybe any Switch exclusive, at least just basing it off of pre-release trailers. Kirby in 3D being an entirely new thing means they shouldn't be afraid to keep it simple, too, which will hopefully mean they won't over think things and just make a goddamn video game without worrying about bullshit "innovation."

I seriously kind of love that Sakurai is known for Smash Bros which desperately clamours to cater to die hards and competitive players (who, let's friggin face it, are basically never content), but can chill it by developing on a series that's so casually enjoyed and historically low in difficulty. I know which one I'd rather be making.

Kirby is an anti depressant, might have to pick up a Switch lite if the reviews are good. Still have a Wii and a copy of Return to Dreamland, don't think I'll ever part with it.
