Dream booking of Kevin Owens at Takeover: The ME, Zayn vs Neville. Zayn is on the verge of winning the NXT title, hits the Helluva Kick on Neville, goes for the pin... Out comes Owens and attacks Zayn to screw him out of the victory. Seems alright and plausible in my book.
talk about wasting a feud.
Why throw the hottest thing you can do with the two out at the start?
Especially since it wont have nearly as much weight to it as it had in ROH. Since there will be little to no backstory between the two in WWE. That's what made Steen vs Generico work.
Read my add on to my previous post. Owens and Zayn will not be half as good or heavy a feud as Steen vs Generico. There's no backstory to the two, which was what made Sten vs Generico so impactful. The fact that they had been partners for 10 years before feuding.:
What will be Owens motivation? Why does he want Zayn to lose other than "LOL I'M A HEEL!"?
And if you do this feud? What then? Where does Owens go from there?
Them feuding from the start is wasting a feud they should do in 2-4 years on the main roster, hopefully with a tag run before it
You're right to an extent. It wouldn't have the same impact like what they did in ROH.
It's just my personal preference, it's not like it's bound to happen. I wouldn't be shocked if it did, though. Plus, this feud could be done on NXT, as well as on the main roster later on... Much like Rollins/Ambrose in FCW and on the main roster. It wouldn't hurt one iota, imo.
So, let's just say Zayn loses at Takeover... Either clean or dirty or by DQ (with Neville turning heel). What then? He 'leaves' the company, as in gets called up to the main roster? That's how I see it.
I've been looking for the vignettes that got leaked but the ones I tried were all taken down if anyone has one that still works link me up!
