Not bad. Hopefully they don't fuck it up with Steen and Devitt's themes. Wouldn't be shocked if they did, though.

Nice debut against Justin Gabriel.. idk if anyone saw but the Ascension came out and went ruthless on Itami, not entirely sure what that was about.

Watch Takeover fatal fourway. It will all make sense.

I do remember that, I guess I'm more curious as to why the Ascension keeps interrupting his shit.. I don't recall him starting anything at Takeover Fatal Fourway, I just thought they interrupted him out of no where and then he took them both out of the ring.

do they really need more reason to cause shit than being embarrassed? They ran roughshod on NXT for over a year and were made to look silly by one lone guy, who is smaller than them both to boot.

Seems like feud set up 101 to me.

I guess they don't need a reason, who will be his partner against them? one of the other newcomers set to debut?

They have a reason to feud with him. He embarrassed them.

What more reason do they need? The best feuds are all simple

His debut against Gabriel was good, definitely. But the dude needs a better finisher. With Punk now gone, he can start using GTS, since he's the innovator of the move and all...

So he should shift to a "weaker" finisher? wouldn't a double foot stomp to the chest be more impactful than a knee to the head?

Keep the foot stomp I day, it can be done on anyone.

Sorry, mate, that particular move as a finisher isn't my cup of tea. I find a lot of top rope finishers pretty generic. Kudos to cool stuff like Neville's Red Arrow, though...

It's not about flashiness or coolness. It's believability. And a top rope foot stomp to the chest is one of the most believable finishing moves out there.

Tbh the top rope double foot stomp has a flashy factor to it.. basically landing that thing cleanly is pretty flashy in it's own. A normal person attempting that move I imagine would fuck up the landing and botch the move.

I'm all for Hideo adopting a ground finisher, but it shouldn't be the GTS. In WWE that is Punk. He should get something new.

Keep the foot stomp though since it is a kill move. It can be hit on anyone, Hideo's smaller stature isn't a factor, he could hit it on Big show and take him out.

To each their own, buddy. Top rope foot stomp is good and effective, 'believable' as you've referred to. I still find it as more of a signature move and I like it, btw. Guess I'll have to get used to Hideo performing it as a finisher, till he hopefully finds something better in his arsenal.

Talking about finishers, here's to hoping Devitt and Steen get to keep theirs.
