Kennedy In Line For A Push?

Last night of Raw, there was a video package that was hyping the return of Kennedy for next week supposedly. Everyone you see w/ these video packages comes on TV sooner or later and gets quite the push. The question I have though, is how big of a push do you think this will go. A feud over the IC title, or maybe even catapult him to the ME status?

My guess would be to catipult him into ME status. They've already tried this twice and suspensions and injury prevented it. So my guess is that he will be getting pushed and hopefully it works. I've always really liked this guy and I'm ready for him to get his big push.

As far as the actual push this is what I see happening. Have him come in and feud with Jericho, assuming he's staying face. Jericho is incredibly over at this point and Kennedy would get some awesome heel heat in a feud against him. He wins the belt after a nice long feud, perhaps even defending the IC title at a PPV I know this would be a crazy idea but you never know. Then after he has the IC title for awhile let him move into a ME program with the champion at the time. This would probably be a long drawn out thing, but I think it could be great for Kennedy in the end.

Another feud I wouldn't mind seeing would be Kennedy-HHH if HHH isn't going to get the belt. That would be an awesome SummerSlam type match imo.

There's no way that WWE can thrust Kennedy right into the ME position. He's lost all the steam he had on SD a little over a year ago. The best bet is to do what HHHforever mentioned. Have him feud with Jericho for a couple of months and build Kennedy up once again. Hopefully, he doesn't do anything stupid (or nothing stupid happens to him) again.

Even though I'm not really a big fan of him, I'm actually hoping he gets pushed. They should build him up slowly, so he won't lose his edge if they put him in another Main Event caliber guy.

I like kennedy and i hope he is going to get pushed but i hope they do right and not just try and throw him into ME scene staright away he needs some momentum going again like he use to have. But yeah a feud with Y2J would be good get him some heat.

As for him and trips id like to see that to think it would be a good match

Yea, what I was suggesting would be a long build up. I would have him win the IC title around SumerSlam and run with that through Survivor Series or so. Then maybe have him win the Rumble and culminate it all with him winning at WM 25. However I highly doubt they'd dedicate this much time to it, but that would be the perfect way to do it imo.

I'd Like to See Kennedy get the Main Event Push...but I think he'll be pushed slowly so as to get that "slow-burn" feeling where People would want to see him get pushed instead of just Pushing him right away and making him champ and shoving him down people's throat...

Kennedy's the man on the mic he's really good in ring and what makes me like him even more is that I think he's the one who injured John Cena to get him out of the ME position ( looks around for Cena Mark). Im hoping that Kennedy has a long fued with Orton or a minor one with HHH just to get him a little more over and then to win the WWE title

As I said before, I haven't been a huge fan of Kennedy since he won MITB. Cause since then he made himself look like an ass multiple times, getting suspended, ect. Plus, he isn't the same. IDK what it is, his worth ethic, idk. He just seems like he'll never get to main event. I like him still, but not as I once was. He lost his spark or something.

Ever since Mr. Kennedy's been moved to Raw in the draft lottery last year, I noticed his was used less then he was on Smackdown!. I mean, he would have a few segments and a match in the main event on Smackdown!. On Raw, I only see him having a match and talks a little bit afterwards which really takes away for his mic skills because they're absolutely amazing.

I would really love to see him go in a feud with Chris Jericho over the Intercontinental Championship, or hell, even a feud with CM Punk over the money in the bank briefcase. Then slowly and gradually be taken up there in the main event level and at the end of the year he'll be feuding with Triple H over the WWE Championship if Triple H has it at the time.

And to close this, I do think Mr. Kennedy should be given a push. Great wrestler, fantastic mic skills, just amazing.

I have a feeling that they will put him to the Main event level but not win the title kinda like what they did with Jeff Hardy make a short fued with Randy Orton make randy win and thats that.

You won't be laughing when Kennedy comes back and Cena absolutely destroys him.

Cena will bury Kennedy so bad, you won't even recognize him.

Also, you better hope they don't thrust Kennedy into the main event with HHH and Orton because it won't be pretty for your guy. Orton is in the midst of a career defining push and HHH is slowly being built up to take the title off Orton. There's no way Kennedy beats those guys. They would both squash Kennedy back to Smackdown.
