What does acedemic intelligence have to do with entertaining someone?

Intelligence matters in debates or in the workplace but is irrelevant to entertainment.

The Disney character Goofy is more entertaining than the Keith Lee character, and that character is dumb, so using intelligence is irrelevant.

I think smarks want to back someone who sounds nerdy and intelligent so that they can look intelligent or deep for supporting it, when in reality it makes them look dense because this is the entertainment industry and he doesn’t entertain, he’s boring.

There’s nothing entertaining about this guy, you’re not intelligent for liking him, there’s nothing deep about him that you get that the masses don’t, he’s boring.

I like certain nerdy and intelligent people too... but they’re boring, they’re not entertaining, I don’t need to be dishonest because I like the person, if they suck at a sports entertainment quality like mic skills and character then they suck.

That's your opinion. Personally, I think Keith Lee is the best guy on the mic today second to Roman Reigns. He's a Heavyweight who can move like a Cruiserweight. That's entertainment for me. His character work needs a bit more work, but that doesn't mean he sucks

You don’t have any logical justification to demand he get pushed to main event because you’re in a niche and most find that boring, a niche is to never be catered to over the general audience in any business.
