Especially WWE’s rights. There’s a reason why they can afford to have like 300 people on their staff.

AEW I do believe is making a net negative atm, but they’re due for a big bump in rights.
negative with the data that's available so who really knows, but yes, the scuttlebutt is the next tv deals puts them in the green. the way tk is talkin i wouldnt be shocked if its been somewhat handshaked or he has a pretty good idea what hes getting

I’m gonna be honest though if I’m Tony, and I’m a billionaire and I already have other businesses that continue to pay me I don’t give a shit if my wrestling company ever draws an actual green profit. No matter how much AEW cost him. It’ll never lower his yearly output as far as how much he makes.

Yeah I think as long as he's not like, bleeding money and dad gets mad, I can't see AEW ever going anywhere. And even then, I'm sure TK at this point can keep it going with his own money, he's got plenty lol

It honestly wouldnt surprise me if his dad never even looks at the AEW paperwork or the financials or anything. It seems like he was just a silent investor that did what his son wanted him to do but otherwise I’ve never heard that man’s name come up in AEW business ever lmao

My personal hope for the next few years tbh would be something akin to every channel having success in some form.

I would love if WWE can continue to maintain the 1.3 Million viewer mark, AEW the 800-900k viewer...

and if MLW, ROH, NWA, and even TNA could get on good channels and have a viewership around 250-500k average. :draper2

A man can dream, but competitive contracts will make things more difficult for the smaller companies.

I think that might be just a tad too many options, but I definitely think it’d be healthier for the business if more people could share this success. I do think MLW could have a real shot if they could get on a weekly television show on a good channel.

Rich people also have egos so I’m sure it helps at anytime he does see AEW mentioned that he sees that they’re breaking ppv records hosting really large arenas and being regarded as one of the best ever to do it. If Tony was floundering, like it was TNA no offense to TNA. Of course I’m sure it would be a different story.

If Wrestlers were paid on a similar scale to other pro athletes based on how much money wrestling brings in (WWE for example), they'd be getting paid like $50 Million a year.

Look at Fulham which ain't even a top team, they are basically midcarders in the top league of england to use a wrestling term. They pay people millions a year

And the biggest of them all debuts next week :)

Was surreal to hear that coin drop. Hopefully it continues the good eating we’re getting. Dweebs who want to make it tribal annoy me - first time in 25 years we pro wrestling fans are eating good and frequent.
