Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Gotch worked as both the booker and trainer for NJPW. He trained several wrestlers in Japan, including Hideki Suzuki, Hiro Matsuda, Satoru Sayama, Osamu Kido, Barry Darsow, Minoru Suzuki, Tatsumi Fujinami, Akira Maeda and Yoshiaki Fujiwara.

Satoru Sayama is the original Tiger Mask, who created the Rounding Moonsault and Tiger Spin

Tatsumi Fujinami created the Dragon Sleeper and Dragon Suplex

Yoshiaki Fujiwara created the Fujiwara Amrbar

Oh for sure. A lot of those names can be linked to several people. Gotch's wrestling tree is probably as prestigious as Stu Hart and Eddie Sharkey's.

I should add an addendum for those who don't know about Eddie Sharkey. Most know Stu's pedigree, the Dungeon, his kids, Pillman, Billy Graham, Bad News Brown, etc...

But Eddie Sharkey trained Bob Backlund, also helped train Barry Darsow, Paul Ellering, Nikita Koloff, The Road Warriors, Jesse Ventura, Sean Waltman, Rick Rude, Jerry Lynn, Medusa, ODB, Austin Aries, and Shawn Daivari, among others.
