You do realize his job involves him being backstage at every event right? He's in charge of talent relations so actually being around the talent is what he does. Not to mention Teddy is stale and the WWE know this from his poor reactions, Johnny draws heat so the WWE will keep him on screen. The award was kayfabe and there for pointless as an indicator of success.

WHAT POOR RELATION? AND IF JOHN LOSE HE STILL THE VP TALENT GUY HE WOULD STILL BE THAT AFTER HE LOSEIS! BUT TEDDY IS WINNING B/c HE DOES GET A GREAT RELATIONS! That a reason there that long b/c he GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES!

Reactions when he comes out you can hear the fat guys in the crowd sweating. So I can say the same thing about Cena, right? He's been the face of the company because he's good at it but you'll respond saying he sucks. Johnny is the logical choice and his job in talent relations isn't restricted if he wins as he's backstage with the talent anyway.

His job as talent relations has no bearing on him being GM for both shows! In fact as Wade says it'd probs be easier talent wise if he was GM of both shows but truly being GM of RAW an SD can't take that much time as majority of it's scripted matches are pre booked it's mainly an on screen persona.

If Teddy loses at WM, he'll still be employed... it's either he wants to retire now as he's old, or writers have written a story-line. Just because one person loses their kayfabe job, it doesn't mean they're fired from WWE mate.

I get the sense that the Orton-Kane setup is kind of last minute. Granted the Mania 28 card does need some filling up, but it would have been nice if this feud could have started a little earlier as opposed to just the last few weeks.
