Thinking about a month or so back when Darren Young returned to television after being exiled from Nexus, the guy seemed to have something going with his "missing link" thing. I think Young has a lot potential judging from his ring work even though he isn't as comfortable on the mic as others. However, I don't see why the destruction of Nexus can't happen with the help of this guy. Now obviously, Cena is going to be the ring leader but why can't Darren Young be built as his number 1 solider? It would definitely help get Darren over into a respectable position in the WWE. All he needs is to clean up his coordination and a $10 haircut, and he can be groomed into a formidable competitor as well as get over with the fans by being co-signed and guided by John Cena. I guess I just want him to have some involvement in this Nexus angle that will eventually lead him into a credible superstar in the WWE.

Thoughts?

I would prefer to not see Young, Otunga, Slater or Sheffield on my TV again.

Scrap Skip Sheffield from that list. Guy was a freaking beast. I have high hopes for him when he returns

Sheffield wasn't really anything special, but like said before, him and Tarver actually made Nexus seem kinda scary. A token, stereotypical, criminal looking black guy dressed as a ninja and a roided up redneck. Now you have two legit fairies under 200 lbs and a disproportional feminine looking 'African-American'. Husky/Michael are decent additions I guess, but they truly don't seem like they fit at all and I feel for some reason the Otunga angle would be better for Michael McGillicuttyy or whatever the fuck to start that Genesis of McGillicutty stable.

I just really enjoyed Sheffield. He truly looked like has going to tear his opponent down. That lariat was something to behold, and he was really, really, really intense.

Of couse he wasn't an all out star, but out of the Nexus, easily second best character after Barret.

Darren Young has potential. However, i never see him winning anything more then a tag team title and a slammy...maybe US title.

Tarver > Sheffield in a BIIIIG way, IMO.

Good lariat though.

Yeah I was sold on Sheffield when he had that little backstage encounter with Morrison where they ended up beating him down. And don't get me started on Tarver. Seriously, he was really fucking good on the microphone and when he creeped up to the ring with that bandana around his face, I got the chills for anyone who was in that ring. I hope Sheffied and Tarver can recover from injury and return to WWE and kick some ass.

I think Tarver and Sheffield should tag team. They could be kind of a newer version of the Acolytes (not the APA- I mean the stiff, mean as fuck Ministry of Darkness Acolytes) for a time or something. I like both of them. Tarver's solid on the mic.

I just don't see anything in Young... Would he be better served going down to ROH for a few years to work on his charisma?
