Well first off my idea is to make ECW it's own brand. Meaning no brand Exchange with Smackdown or Raw. The ECW title should be staying with stars on it's brand.. not stars out of the blue from Smackdown (Kane, Chavo...etc) Since Kane is on Raw... Night Of Champions, have him lose the belt to The Big Show. Put Big Show on ECW and make it a brand, not a "heat" for Smackdown or Raw. I tossed around the theory of having Hardy "exchange" his USA title for the Hardcore title.. meaning the USA title would go back to Smackdown Vacant. It would bring the more "Extreme" feeling back to the brand and help stars work there way up to the ECW title.. without winning because they can. ECW should be on it's own. ECW can still be a developing brand.. We could see stars Like Matt Hardy a chance to "Main Event" a brand. I think ECW can stand on it's own without the help from the other 2 brands.. and succeed. If WWE needs to Advertise ECW More.. have the champ show up a few times.. there isn't anything wrong with that. My point is, I think that ECW can stand alone and actually succeed without any brand Exchange... Thoughts?

i agree the brand exchange is hurting ECW. Future ME possiblities like Kofi and Elijah need to be more on top than what they are right now and Matt or someone bring in the Hardcore title would help out but not much. The Hardcore title never really proved that you were better than your opponent it just proved that you used weapons more efficiently. Changing ECW completly Extreme would ruin the talent and the show. maybe have more hardcore matches but not all the time. that would get old in today's wrestling. now we need better gimmick matches like Cages, Cells, Chambers, and Ladder matches where everthing is legal if you can get access to it but there is more of an environment to work with

Well I didnt know Raw had such an exchange with ECW. I thought it was just ECW and SD. I honestly thing that the talent exchange is a good thing...If it was done better. Because like you said there is not storylines with these champions, they are just like rolling dice and we got an ECW champion.

But the talent exchange could help both shows at this point, now that HHH is around. I know the ME guys never really showed up on ECW, but Kennedy is in the mix now, and the Hardy Boyz, and Umaga. So I mean there are a lot of fresh faces who have gained their respect on Raw. So if anything at this point, the talent exchange would really help the newer talent. Like they did with Punk. Like they are doing with Morrison, and not really Miz but it seems they are trying. I dont think that ECW could last as its own brand, they kinda had it that way for awhile, and they opened the talent exchange.

I think they should work with how it is, and have intershow storylines. That is the biggest problem on SD and ECW. They are stale ass storlylines. We got the freshness now, lets see if they can get some good storylines going. I am not saying all intershow, but have a couple involving some unpredictable cominations of bookings, and then spice up the storylines on the shows explicitly.

I dont agree with you Dylan. I think the Talent Exchange is good.

Actually, from what I told.. they are with Raw now. My point is.. is that it should be it's own brand without having to exhchange stars. If Miz and Morrison want to bee seen on Smackdown... put them there. If Kennedy wants to be seen on ECW.. put him there.. ECW should be on it's own.. similar to the beginning of 06. I mean come on.. they could actually build a story line to Wrestlemania unlike the past one where Kane just walks in and walks out in like 3 seconds... they can actually entertain us without some random Title Change.

Well what I am saying is kinda what you are saying. You want story with out the talent exchange. I am saying if they did it right, instead of this random ass shit. It could operate as its own, as well as SD. But they have SDs Tag Titles and now US so it wont happen. But if they do it right, with good stories, they could actually put on a good show, with the Talent exchaning happening. imo

I already explained that Hardy could Exchange it for the Hardcore title and put the USA title back on Smackdown vacant. Miz & Morrison can easily just leave and go over to Smackdown like so many others have done at Random. Want a good story? Loser leaves ECW.. Tommy Dreamer & Colin Delaney vs MNM. Dreamer and Delaney win and put MNM back on Smackdown.
