Liger one of the best Wrestlers to grace us with his presence in Wrestling. One of the most popular talents ever and I'm still wondering how in the hell did NJPW never make him World Champion just once. I've been thinking of wanting to a Watchthrough of something maybe something from my birth year in 88 or some kind of Puro. I'm sure Liger had plenty of classics during that time I haven't seen.

My favorite Liger match, which doesn't have a video anymore, would be Kishin Liger vs BADBOY Hido because it was a complete change for Liger and the match was just brutal. As well, Kishin's gimmick is what Finn Balor's "Demon King" persona should have been as well as others that have a "split side" to them.

I'm intrigued, don't know much about this side of Liger at all :WOW

I wished the match was on YouTube or somewhere so people can see it, but I had no luck. Here are some pics of it, and if you remember his match against Suzuki like a couple of years ago then that was Kishin. Basically, Jushin had to become darker and unleash his inner demonic self. Two other well know Japanese wrestlers have done this as well, those Hayabusa when he became E and BxB Hulk when he became Killer/Black Hulk

This is like how I felt when I finally found a rip of that Bridge of Dreams supershow from '95 that I'd been looking forever for to review for my thread on here :lol

Tyler Breeze on meeting Liger: "I never met him until Brooklyn when I met him in catering. I saw some guy who is not normally there & I went, 'Hey man. is it me and you tonight?' He goes, 'Yes, yes, yes. Please, put the whole match together, I don't know this style.' I put the whole match together."

Pretty cool note on the Tyler Breeze match.

That makes a lot of sense with how the match went, it was fairly basic. I kinda wish they woulda let Liger do more but cool on him recognizing he was out of his element lol

Love breeze but still fell like it was a waste of liger even if breeze was at his hottest point :lol actually

Maybe it's the catering, Liger pulled an Eric Bischoff. Ehh we'll do whatever you want lol

On this day in 1999, Jushin Liger on he IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship for the 10th time, taking place on an episode of WCW Monday Nitro in what I think (and have not fact checked whatsoever) may have been his last WCW appearance
