He was the first person to tap out to a Submission AJPW's history when Misawa locked in a Arm-Trap Standing Crossface on him during a tag match, which saw Kawada and Misawa defend their belts against the team of Jumbo and Taue. Also, just a dumb fact the name Jumbo came from a fan contest.
