All drivers were given three full laps (not including out lap) to record the best time possible hoping to earn the first pole position in the history of the JSRL. Lap times won't correspond to actual lap times that a real life race at the race tracks might result in - as a note.

Pole Position:

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. of MWMotorsports driving the BMW M6 GT3 #7 claimed the first pole position in the history of the JSRL with a time of 1 minute 54 seconds. The second spot on the front row will be taken by Tony Stewart. The second row will be filled by Dale Senior and Jackie Stewart with Ayrton Senna taking the fifth position on the third row of the grid.

Race Report
The first race in the history of the JSRL would begin with an interesting start on the grid, as Earnhardt, Jr,. and Tony Stewart would seem to find themselves stalling on the green flag, as Senna and Jackie Stewart would have a really impressive opening lap with Jackie leading narrowly ahead of Senna. The first three laps would Tony Stewart gain some presence to take the lead of his namesake of no family relation with Jackie Stewart just behind him. Earnhardt, Jr. found himself a little bit further behind in third. Whilst Senna and Senior were seeming to be really struggling with the pace of the race.

From the seventh lap onwards though Jackie Stewart would take the lead off Tony Stewart and despite a close battle for first position it would be Jackie Stewart who would cross the line in 1st place with a overall time of 27minutes 51 seconds, with Tony Stewart claiming 2nd place with 28 minutes and 27 second result in a 36 seconds difference between first and second. Ayrton Senna cross the line in 3rd place with a time of 30 minutes and 27 seconds with Earnhardt, Jr. finishing behind in fourth with 30 minutes and 45 seconds to his name. With Senior finishing at the back of the pack with a time of 31 minutes and 42 seconds.

Our fastest lap of the day would actually be achieved by Dale Earnhardt, Sr. with a time of 1 minute and 51 seconds which would beat the previous time set by his son during qualifying.

In preparation for our first multi-race championship every driver will be given a $10m race budget to purchase relevant engines and designs specifications to improve their car. The draft (a snake draft) will work in a reverse grid of the result of the exhibition race:

1) Earnhardt, Sr. 2) Earnhardt, Jr. 3) Senna 4) Tony Stewart 5) Jackie Stewart

The first item that drivers will draft is engine supplier (drivers can attempt to make trades after the draft has completed - and not whilst it is taking place).

The $10m will solely go towards the building of the car and the team going into the season - but you can choose to not spend all the cash and keep some left over - but there will be no financial rewards after each race. There might be benefits to not spending all your money at once, but there is an element of risk and rewards to all choices.
