Unfortunately through no fault of his own, his title reign is always going to be associated with no crowds. I do not see him as a long term face of the company but he deserved a better situation than this. The timing was just perfect for him until corona happened.
I think he's good in the ring, an above average talker and he definitely has charisma but I can't say that I'm a fan of his booking. It seems as if he's been constantly getting the crap beaten out of him by the inner circle since December. At some point this stops getting him over and I feel we're past that point. I think they should build him up with more squash matches while having him cut more post-match promos in the ring like he did at revolution.
I had Hager penciled in as the next champ but the fact that they aren't saving this for a PPV indicates that maybe they aren't going in this direction just yet.
I love that he's enjoying himself so much.
