When Jon Jones next defends his UFC light heavyweight title, against Dan Henderson, he’ll enter the fight not only as the favorite, but a huge overwhelmingly so.

According to Nick Kalikas of BetonFighting.com, Jones will enter his next title defense as a monster favorite facing former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson.

The odds currently have Jon Jones listed as a -565 favorite with the comeback on the underdog Henderson at +385.

While the numbers may seem somewhat out of whack for a title fight, the fact is Jones has been a huge favorite in his last few fights and delivered every single time.

Crazy odds, but I can understand it a bit. Although, Hendo is going to be Jones's toughest challenge.

Those are crazy odds but I can definitely see why they would have it listed like that. Hendo's chin is definitely gonna get checked... as well as Jones. I'm sure Hendo is gonna connect at least once or twice with that right hand.

No real surprise, the betting agencies have probably been hit very hard for Jones previous fights so will want to cover themselves by setting the odds so low for Jones.

Oddsmakers are just marks.

I'll bet on Hendo, and make out like a villian if he wins.

Heh that'd be the way to go. Besides Hendo has a definite chance of winning... Solid chin, solid hands, solid wrestling, very durable, good cardio... shoooooot... this is Jones toughest challenge. IF he were to beat him who would be left?

If I was doing the gameplan for Hendo, it would to lean on Jones against the fence for most of the fight and always get the last shot after seperating. His chin and big right are his best tools against someone as lanky as Jones, but Hendo needs to not get dropped or get choked here.

He needs to relook at his fight with Anderson and spot the similarities.

I hear ya but against the fence against Jones... Jones stays busy though and delivers a couple knees... and you know when they separate he gonna throw something. It'd be kinda hard... unless he ducks out of the way of the spin and throws an uppercut or a body shot. At least then he can connect. But Hendo probably would need to try to stay off the mat with Jones. But then standing there is that reach advantage... so yeah fence is the best option. Just gotta be able to get into position to unload anything.

Hendo in the first three rounds I will give him a good chance of winning. The last two round ehhhh going to be tough with his conditioning.

If it goes beyond 3... Jones is going to have to finish it. Hendo won't be able to keep it up.

Would think Jones would be thinking about what happened to Fedor if he tries to go for the kill early.
