Well as you all know, I am a huge John Morrison fan even have his shirt which I got around October. Now as we all know, John is in hot water over snubbing Trish of several ideas just to back up Melina. Then Val Venis called him out about letting Melina cheat on him with Batista ( disgusting) and Mike Knox ( I didn't it could get much worse from Big Overrated Dave). Now Morrison is a great superstar, the guy has done fantastic with his push coming back from Survivor Series. But once again, he dropped the ball by doing something stupid. I am pretty annoyed with John because instead of listening to Trish and hopefully giving her a good vibe about him that would help him get a chance at the title. Trish is a huge figure in WWE and it would have been huge if she put in a good word for him. Instead Morrison lets his girlfriend get in the way of that and now were is he. I do still think he could become a champion one day, but it's not looking good right now. You have to question how much of a man he is when he allows his girlfriend to cheat on him and not doing anything about it. Instead of being a good sport about WM, he dropped the ball and it pisses me off. Morrison may still have a shot at being a champion but he has a long way to go of earning respect. I can now finally realize that The Miz will always be better than him. Your thoughts on Morrison situation, now I know we have discussed in another thread, but in terms of his chances at a huge push and title. Also about Melina and Val Venis comments since Val was really mad about the situation.

Seems like WWE is working the internet again.

Some shit got leaked and they went the other way to swerve people and Vince is probably looking at the feedback with a troll face on.

I honestly don't believe John Morrison deserves a credible push, because I never really found him to be all that great. The reason why I'm not that huge of a John Morrison fan is, because I think that he's all flash no substance, but don't get me wrong he's fun to watch in the ring and he is over with the crowd. There has also been rumors that he has had some backstage problems, but whether or not they are true or unknown, but this recent situation seems rather clear. He disrespected a well respected wrestler within the WWE and that could come off as ungrateful and arrogant towards somebody who has made contributions towards the Diva's division and wrestling in general. I'm not entirely sure about whether or not John Morrison will be getting a push, but I think he might get one more opportunity at a push a year or so from now.

I'm not going to go into the whole Melina thing, because she seems to be apart of a lot of backstage problems and I doubt WWE would let that sort of thing continue. WWE can easily replace Melina, because the Diva's division isn't anything all that spectacular to begin with. It would probably hurt their diva division a little bit, but does WWE even care? Probably not.

I just saw Raw spoilers and I am even more confused than I once was before. Thanks creative, you never fail to amaze me. I won't spoil but yeah your right Guano. I just think the lack of good young faces helps him in so many ways. All the best young stars are heels, which is why Cena could never go heel cause honestly what face star can go against him that's young right now.

There were some other reports from the Observer, I think, on the situation where it was claimed Morrison thought Trish was being pushy with her suggestions and wanted to take control of the match *shrug* I don't know the full report, a friend of mine who is a huge Trish fan has been emailing me about it as I'm critical of Trish sometimes, and he wanted my take on the last report. Since the second report surfaced it didn't seem to me like he was just doing it to stick up for his girlfriend and I think the whole thing might have just been Morrison taking Trish the wrong way. He might also have been a bit sour on being saddled with the girls in a gimmick match. Who knows?
I think Val Venis bringing up all the guys Melina has slept with is irrelevant, and no-one knows that Morrison "allows" Melina to cheat on him. They might just have that sort of relationship, and I'm not altogether interested really. His point on Melina thinking she should have a spot on WM was fair enough though. And I don't think her leaving would hurt the division too much at this point, she hasn't done anything for months. her attitude since they turned her heel has been terrible.

John Morrison will eventually be champion, there is no doubt in my mind that WWE will eventually put the title on him it just depends on when. Issues like this are stupid but in the whole scheme of things it will just be a blip on the radar. If his girlfriend has that much control over him then it is just sad and if this is all true then he should reconsider it since it could be harming his career. In the end I hope that Morrison learnt his lesson, that he should respect veterans who have done more in WWE than he has, and that next time he should just listen.

John Morrison is one of those guys, who's career push is not rushed. Such pushes are the slowest, but are usually the most rewarding. Seeing the title around JoMo's waist would be a pretty big deal already, not to mention that he won't get it just yet. He possibly will be involved in a rivalry against R-Truth (now heel) for a while. This should push both stars if WWE does it right; after that JoMo can go on to the world championships.

The whole conflict between Trish and Melina did hurt Morrison, but I think WWE is not going to change the end result of him becoming a champion.

It is not so much that the Morrison push has been a slow one rather than it has been starting and stopping so many times. Now I remember that they begin pushing him at the end of last year, and after that impressive match with The Miz on Jan 3 there was a really chance for them to push him all the way, they even could of had rematch with him and the Miz at the rumble, or as some thought might happen, have him win the rumble match. Neither happened and since then his profile has dropped again.

Now I am not a big JM fan . I loved MNM, and at least at the start of his singles career he had some exciting matches, however he has not progressed since that time, has become very blend in the ring and on the mic, and his character is so dated it is untrue. So needless to say I don't agree with him being in this title match at ER and will agree even less if he wins. Thing is if they had of built on his push in the first place then the fans might buy him more as a main eventer. It is possible like deezy said that they are trying swerve the fans, but if they are and Morrison wins the title it will not work out for them in the long run.

Very true that Morrison has suffered from stop/start pushes. I had forgotten about that match against The Miz for the title at the start of this year and it is strange how he wasn't used more after that. I know that Miz was busy with Cena but Morrison could have been used in a secondary feud on PPV's against Ziggler.
