"What happens when Rey kicks Big Show or Kane in the shin".... They fucking limp i.e. SELLING it.

"Are all way bigger than Miz" - Bullshit. Pound for pound Miz is probably bigger than all of them (with the acception of Edge maybe).

I'm gonna opt out here, K... Your bias is there for all to see in 'b&w'.

Find me ONE TIME Show or Kane have "limped around" selling a Rey kick. Their leg moves, they shake it off, and thats it.

Miz: 6'1" - 210 lbs
Edge: 6'4 - 240 lbs
Randy Orton: 6'5" - 265 lbs
CM Punk: 6'1" - 220 lbs
Chris Jericho: 6' - 231 lbs

Even the SMALLEST of those others is still bigger than Miz. So there goes that logic.

So, Orton weighs the same as the announced weight of a fully bulked-up HHH?????

...I question your stats.

As for the leg/Show thing... How do you account for the 'attack the leg and take the wheels out' approach of virtually every guy that's ever been out-sized by a monster?

....Or someone like Rey beating Kane, JBL or whoever, period?

a smaller man CAN beat a bigger man, but that doesnt mean the big man HAS to crumble at the mighty punch of Miz.

^^^I'm sure someone would be better qualified to define it but I guess punching power has gotta be some kind of height vs weight vs muscle mass ratio. (Don't know, never been a boxing fan.)

Amusingly stated as it was, you and I both know that's not the crux of the 'argument'.

Onlineworldofwrestling, and yes it is the crux of the argument, to sell or not to sell, and while there are gradations of selling, getting kicked by Rey and then shaking it off as if nothing happened is closer to no selling, AS IT SHOULD BE. The same with guys snapping their head back when Rey hits them, sure it wont hurt, but the head should at least move a bit, but it doesnt mean a guy has to go down clutching his nose, go back to selling it all match, or even sell it past an initial movement.

But that's Rey Mysterio. We're talking about The Miz, who while might be smaller than those guys, it's not exactly an abismal difference, and for John Cena to act as if wasn't feeling Miz's punches or kicks was a complete joke.

i wasn't talking about the punching power, but the height/weight. your weight is mostly determined by your height. bones weigh much much more than muscle. i wouldn't be surprised if orton is ~260lbs considering his height.

^^^re: height... Maybe, but not when you're as 'thick' as a fully ripped HHH.

I couldn't say for sure but I thought Orton got announced at like 240lbs or so (which in the past would have been an exageration anyway - Do they still do this?).

Kaedon: If you read back you should be able to see that my gripe is born of the REPEATED no-selling over the course of the match.... The lack of ACCUMULATIVE effect of the blows delivered by Miz.... Something that even the smallest guy is 'allowed' against the biggest in the company.

Would it be any clearer if I said, I'd have prefered to have seen Cena just knock Miz out with a single blow and zero offence from Miz?

Youre talking like he worked over a body part for 5 minutes, there is no need for "accumulative" selling if whats being thrown is weak. If Rey kicks a guys thigh 4 straight times, should he sell it all match? No. No one should do it even if Rey kicks it TWENTY TIMES over the course of the match, why? BECAUSE THEY DONT HURT!!! Its like a mosquito bite!

Well, I remember once Cena took a belt shot from Edge kicked out of a pin, got up FU'd him, then celebrated for 10 minutes like he didn't just get "knocked out." Didn't grimace or wince once.

Yeah I remember that too, but this is more of a booking/agent thing. I think they told them "Hey we think it should go like this, Miz has all this heat and Cena should come out and squash him". Its not like Cena is a notorious no seller like others in the company or the industry.
