I like the idea of Cena vs Gunther at WrestleMania but with Gunther winning. I'd also like to see Cena face Bron Breakker. No Solo. No Roman.

Like, do a tag team with him or Punk on a B level PPV or something but why are we wasting his last run on matches we've already seen.

We need Gunther, Bron etc

Tbh doing a mix of both can work. Like for old time sake give us some of his bigger feuds, Punk, Orton, hell give us AJ Styles one more time also. But then do new opponents also. That’s when we do Bron, Gunther, and one we seen before but a totally different person now than he was back in the day, gives us Cena vs Cody.

Yeah I get the upsides of it but I just can't get excited at the thought of them running back old matches on PLE's that will be significantly worse than what we've seen before.

Regarding some rumors, there probably were talks of Cena vs. Logan Paul at Mania and Logan Paul did ask for it, but we’re told it’s 100 percent not happening. We also know the idea of Cena challenging for a world title to break the so-called record of 16 by Ric Flair is something that at least as a month ago could happen

Not overly bothered which PLE it ends up on but it still has to happen at some point.

Cena/Logan could be Summerslam. Logan could be IC Champ and Cena comes after him cause it’s the only thing he’s never achieved.

Cena/Gunther for the WHC and 17 seems to be what people want but I’m still wanting Cena/Orton even though that seems unlikely at this point.

There has been a lot of talk about potential Wrestlemania matches in recent weeks, but given that this coming Wrestlemania in Las Vegas would be John Cena's planned final Mania bout, the question of who he would be facing has been a major topic of conversation internally.

Currently, the majority of the talk has circled around the idea of Cody Rhodes vs. Cena at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.

We have heard that match mentioned by numerous sources over the last two weeks, as recently as yesterday. It should be pointed out that many of those sources have noted that everything is subject to change, especially if The Rock descends down from "Mountain Rock" (as one person joked) and wanted to work with either Cody or Cena at Wrestlemania, at which point any creative plans would be re-worked to fit into Rock's vision.

So, that's where things stand today, but we are a long way from Wrestlemania....​

I never actually considered Cody at all since I expect(ed) him to be tied up with Rock. I think it would be the best option now I think about it all things considered, would have that feeling of Cena handing over the torch so to speak.
