As much as I have detested John Cena for a large part of his career, I wish he could have made it back for Wrestlemania as well.

The WWE product has just been so stale and when he was doing the US Open Challenge, it really was the most interesting thing WWE did last year. I'd sincerely root for him over Reigns.

It's official: Cena's out of this year's Mania.

At this morning's WWE WrestleMania 33 press conference in Orlando, John Cenaconfirmed that he will not be wrestling at WrestleMania 32 next month.

"For the first time in a decade in a half, this year I will be watching WrestleMania," Cena said. "WrestleMania means the world to me."

Cena has wrestled a every WrestleMania since WrestleMania XX, where he defeated TheBig Show to win the WWE United States Championship. Cena's first WrestleMania appearance was at WrestleMania XIX the year before, where he performed a rap ripping Jay-Z and Fabolous for not accepting his battle rap challenge for the show.
