Joey Mercury Returns To WWE At SD

-- Previous reports of Joey Mercury re-signing with WWE are apparently true as the three-time tag team champion worked a dark match prior to tonight's television tapings at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Shelton Benjamin pinned the returning Superstar. Mercury was previously released from World Wrestling Entertainment on March 26, 2007. He continued working the independent circuit before briefly retiring from the wrestling industry in late 2008.

He actually looks ALOT younger with hair. THey should have had him keep the hair, then join Straight Edge. Fued with Morrision. That would have been bad ass.

His hair was cut short back in 2008 when he worked in OVW. I hope that they put him over big time and look better than what he didbefore he left. Straight Edge Society? Yes, I believe so

I feel like if they wanted more SES memebers, they would have brought them in by now. I think at this point, Punk, Gallows, and Serena will suffice unless they want to push Punk's singles career again then maybe. I can also see them just adding Darren Young to the stable.

Pretty certain Mercury will join in or for the inevitable feud between Punk and Morrison. Which could elevate both these guys to permanent main event stays if done right.
