I love Cornette, watched his Podcast for years -- was rather upset he ended it. Aside from that, while I always enjoy his commentaries or interviews, in some ways Cornette IS stuck in the 80's(and not for the best either) but he gets far too much hate on the internets. Whether Cornette ripped on the WWE here, is immaterial, we all know that's his shtick and thats fine, usually he has a salient point or two.

He actually makes a lot of sense, though the guy knows wrestling inside out. Sure he rants and raves, but you'll also notice there is always reasoning behind what he has to say. I don't buy that he is stuck in the 80's, he just believes that there are Wrestling basics that need to be applied no matter the era, and he is right.
