This is something I made on my old forum t that I owned.

Now here me out on this. Before the accident he was ok and had a few fans . Now post accident it seems that everyone really likes him and wants him back in the ring. Should TNA bank on this new popularity of his , and when he comes back do everything they can to sky rocket and make him into a mega star.

Had to put in the owning ITR part eh? ;)

Honestly, with the right build, he could very well be that, but John Cena is also a hard worker, so this all depends on Jesse.

I think it's too early to even be thinking about this. Jesse should make a full recovery, but it'll be over a year before he could even wrestle again.

Not sure why just being mildly popular after an injury would make him John Cena-esque. I mean you could say that AJ Styles had almost that exact treatment at one point. But TNA is also nowhere near the kind of Mainstream WWE is so their won't be "John Cena" until they do something to make other organizations care about them.

Seeming as they've tried to get AJ over as their poster boy for a decade and cant do it, I doubt Jesse Sorensen of all people could be that guy.

Yeah, he has a nice 'comeback' story when he returns, but so did Hardcore Holly when Lesnar broke his neck, didnt get him over either. He can have a decent run in the X Division and get his revenge on Xema Ion, but no more than that really.

^Hardcore Holly was a jerk so he was never going to get over as a face.

If Jesse Sorensen is able to fully recover and live a normal life than that is fantastic, if he can wrestle again that is a bonus. He has no chance of becoming a Cena level guy, look at how much TNA have pushed AJ Styles over the years and he doesn't have a fraction of the support Cena has. I don't think that Sorensen can be the guy to take TNA to the next level, the fans will be behind him if he returns but that doesn't mean that he will become the top dog of TNA.

What a bizarre topic.

Jesse Sorensen is an absolute nobody and i'm 99% sure in myself that he's also a never will be, thus making him not even fit to wipe John Cena's ass let alone be compared to him. People aren't talking about him because he's amazing and can't wait for him to come back and save TNA, more a case of 'Oh it sucks he got injured, I hope he's able to return.'

Does not matter of how someone is being talked. The matter is that he is being talked about and TNA Can use this to there advantage....

Of course it matters. If people all over forums are just posting him well wishes to get back wrestling and they don't even watch TNA, that isn't going to help shit is it?

I'm guessing you're the type of person who thinks that any publicity is good publicity.

No. Just. No.

I've seen barely anyone talk about him since his injury, the title of this topic made me think he'd made some miraculous Super Cena recovery and already returned, but no, pure garbage. TNA has no one that can draw to the level of Daniel Bryan, let alone John Cena.

Bobby Roode is just getting there. Eric Young had a decent chance too back in the day. Sorry, but unless Sorenson does something worthwhile, he's nothing. Hell, Colt Cabana was talked about a lot, where is he right now? (No offense to Cabana!)

Probably smart enough to not go to TNA. Cabana can wrestle anywhere he wants besides WWE really, so him not being in TNA is probably a choice by him.

Actually I am one of those types of people, even if a person doesnt watch tna they now know whom he is. So if and when he gets better and they find out when he returns they would want to check out tna and might become a new fan. ...

That's not true, I watched TNA on occasion, and even then, I never really read anything about him on the internet. Much like right now, I'm only seeing that he's been injured, I don't even know what the Hell happened to him!

Because you never watch TNA. He was in a lot of the PPVs at the end of the year last year and the first two this year in X Division Championships matches.
