I read ages ago that HHH wanted to spend the rest of his career as a face (I'm guessing so when he retires the fans love him) So I don't see him turning heel! That now leaves me stumped on where the Hardy/Trips ting is going??
Im sure i read he likes/loves to be a heel best
anyway wotever he aint retiring anytime sooon and be it heel/face on retirement he will get a massive pop no matter what he is. As for the jeff/hhh thing i think its a rub for jeff while hhh sits back for awhile till a title run comes up. not 2 sure wether that before wm24 at wm24 or after it but lateley i think he taking back seat :Confuzzled:

HHH has played Heel and Face like nobody has done over the years..whatever he does, fans will always love him for his antics..as for jeff hardy,i dont know when WWE will push him "up" the order, cause he deserves it.

To me, it is now clear that we are heading to a Jeff Hardy and Triple H feud, since the supposly original feud of Snitsky and Umaga vs Jeff and HHH, we will see it tomorrow at Raw.
And Reinvented, nobody ever said that Jeff is gold in the mat, he is far from it, but he is over as hell, and he can put a fun match with his high speed. He derserves a push, and now, I am sure he will be given a WWE title reign. For two reasons, so that he can be a Grandslam Champion, and as a way of saying thank you for the hard work, a la Benoit, Mysterio, Guerrero and King Booker

If Jeff ever gets the WWE title it'll be as a thank you....but more than anything he'll just be a transitional champ because I don't see Jeff having the world title more than two or three months

i would love to see jeff hardy get a major push. he gets some of the biggest pops each show. the fans love him and he is great in the ring. it would make a lot of sense to at least give him a short title reign. i think hes deserved it.

Everyone makes really good points, and I think that Jeff Hardy really could make a believable ME face. I was reading Y2Js book and he says the only way to get better on the mic is to work with someone who does it great. For Jeff to be able to work with someone like Triple H who is one of the best ever with promos I know it will really improve his chances of making it to the ME one day. But even thought I like the idea of a HHH/Hardy feud it seems like alot to try to pull together before WM. Also, one of the reasons The Rock made it so big, was because him and Vince listened to the fans about how to develop his gimmick. The fans have been over for Jeff a long time and I think if he was allowed to just develop in whatever direction the fans steer him, while working on his promos with HHH, I think he could really go far. I mean who knew Matt Hardy would turn out to be a good singles competitor? I think Vince, Steph, etc. have always categorized The Hardys as a tag team, but ever since Matt has been getting over so well with the fans, they are finally realizing the may have an equally good singles competitor in Jeff.

My problem in all of this is... Jeff Hardy.

Don't get me wrong, he'll deliver in the ring (by WWE standards, anyways) but do you really want to waste such a huge push on such an unreliable person? Sure, he might enventually feud and go over HHH, but what if he goes and gets suspended (AGAIN!!) due to his drug use?

I know he's insanely over, but he's shown during his first run in WWE, during his run in TNA, and even during his second run in WWE that he just can't stay clean! With all the crap that people have saying about WWE as of late, do you really want to put the spotlight on a guy who might crumble under pressure and once again throw it all away because of his drug use?

It seems like a risky move on the WWE's part in my opinion.

I think HHH is going to win and hes going to turn heel and maybe orton will lose to jericho and set up a face Y2J vs heel triple H.
