And I still will say it wasn't inevitable, it's a terrible pattern that makes me not surprised (mostly bc has had DWI's) in the past but I'd never say with 100% certainty a public intoxication charge will lead to a DWI...case in point I've never had a DWI but may have gotten a PI :side:
I was 100% certain without intervention. You're not Jeff Hardy, though. I'm only speaking about Jeff Hardy.

He's an addict that needs to have a zero tolerance policy. He can't just have a drink and be fine.

You know anecdotal evidence don't fly bruh. Sure, correlation isn't causation, but a pattern is a pattern, irregardless of how it ends.

And inevitability means it was 100% certain that he was gonna get a DWI and me not thinking it was 100% gonna happen somehow makes me defending him? Bruh I was like 85% sure he was gonna fall into old habits, I just don't like absolutes like that when people act like things are for sure gonna happen, I'd disagree with anyone saying it just like I'd disagree with anyone saying "nah a PI is cool, he's gonna for sure straighten out and be okay"

All I said was public intoxication wasn't as big of a deal as DWI and that it shouldn't be treated like one which is what Deezy was saying too which somehow became defending Jeff when all we were saying was you guys were overreacting. Fuck a drunk driver though, but I bet this thread has a lot more condemning in it than the Jimmy Uso one did

No deezy said it doesn't matter and WWE shouldn't care.

Oh yeah that's right lmao nah I was on board with WWE sending him to rehab to try and prevent this from happening so I disagree with Deezy there

No one was even specifically calling you out. That's whyI said I didn't want to point fingers.

Point is, WWE has to do something now. They can't be seen as condoning this behavior.

I said the precedent was already set by Jey Uso on DUI and said public intoxication wasn't the same......keep trying to twist my words tho. :smh

What the fuck ever.......hang him from the highest tree for all I fucking care.

See, we're in agreement then. That's all I thought needed to be done. Ask him to go rehab. Only do more if he refused to go.

The thing I wanna know is how does Jeff keep getting pulled over before killing someone. I've gone a hundred miles before seeing a cop

Well I was definitely one "defending" him in the thread even tho they were obviously talking about Deezy so I thought I'd clarify my opinions on the PI haven't changed just because this happened

:MJ2:

Jeff done fucked up. Time to ship him off to get help or cut bait. Jeff's own behavior is the only precedent relevant here.

I mean, that's your prerogative, but I'd change my stance when new evidence comes to light.

Jeff will never be the type to be able to drink and not get in trouble. Never.

The Usos did win the belts days after dude tried to fight a cop while drunk bc his wife drove the wrong way on a one way street :TI: idk where WWE's priorities are on drinking offenses rn

My stance was that a PI is something that he could come back from but he should probably get some help even if it's just an intervention and not full put rehab bc it wasn't a huge deal like I considered a DWI to be, I still feel like that's the case but I also acknowledged it was a very big possibility that it could become something more, we only disagree on it being 100% certain

WWE should be tougher on all performers when they pull these shenanigans, but the Usos aren't relevant to Jeff Hardy.

Hardy was first released by WWE for substance abuse issues back in 2003. That's over 16 years ago.

If you believe he needed help, we don't disagree. My only stance was he wasn't coming back from the PI without help.
