I don't understand why this is blowing up now, JBL being a huge bully has been known for a while hasn't it? Is it because of the Justin Roberts stuff? There always seems to be loads of people backstage who behave this way, unfortunately it's the nature of the business and the people it attracts.

Because JBL bullied the fanbase/the webs new favorite commentator into a depression relapse and effectively out of the company since Mauro is not coming back by all accounts. That freakily enough co-incided with Roberts book releasing and a bunch of talent approaching guys like Meltzer and Bixenspan to verify claims and hand out more stories.

It's just a perfect storm.

If JBL takes the fall Vince will just find a new guy to do his bullying for him.

It's a shame Mauro has had a relapse because of it , JBL is a shitty person for his acts but when you know someone has mental health issues it makes the issue seem worse still.

Yeah unfortunately there will always be another who'll 'haze' ( I believe that's the term that's used) backstage. Luckily it seems less common in the newer gen wrestlers from what I've seen so whilst I'm sure there will always be an element of it going on hopefully it dies down as much as possible.

JBL has been hazing people forever, this isn't anything new. Messed up with what he's done to people, but its not news at all.

Vince will find a new tool. It's how he entertains himself. Like Roberts writes in his book, it's his entertainment. He wants it on some level as a way of keeping the talent down and not making too many demands.
