JBL went from being a midcard for life to all of a sudden being a main eventer. Who on the current roster who has been wrestling for more than 5 years & never held the world title and never been a main eventer do you think is ready for this kind of push?

Although it seems it's kind of happening R-Truth is looking like he is ready for that kind of push. The total make over on him has been great as before I really couldn't get myself to care for the guy.

I've been waiting for a couple of years for Santino to drop the accent and turn into a legit heel, and I'm convinced it'll happen eventually. He can be a tremendous worker if given the chance.

I think JBL was lightning in a bottle, I'm not sure it could be replicated. I'd actually love to see this happen with Mark Henry, though. He isn't amazing, but he can go and the fans hate him enough to make the push worth it. Him just dominating over on Smackdown like Big Show did on ECW in 2006 could work if done right.

This was actually going to be my answer. Although i'm not sure how Santino would do if he completely dropped the comedy aspect, I was a big fan of his heel run, at one point he was the only reason I was watching Raw and his IC Title run was intruiging (Bring up the Honk-A-Meter!!).

His only drawback is his shortcomings in the ring, but the beauty of being heel is that you can hide that with slow pace, choke holds, rest holds, etc. Works for guys like The Miz fine.

Kofi Kingston, I think he could use a kind of push like that. Booker T had been saying alot before Kofi got drafted that he needed to quit the smiling and hopping around and get serious in the ring. I think Kingston's character needs a complete makeover anyways because he's from West Africa yet WWE continues to use his Jamaican theme song from when he debuted.

Christian. They're doing it.

Kofi Kingston has been a long time coming. John Morrison has been pushed and de-pushed like crazy, but I think the position he's in now (in and out the Main Event - pretty much a Main Event wrestler on RAW) is as far as he gets and I'm fine with it. He is a star, imo.
