I actually would disagree with him being able to main event. The talent he has on the mic and in the ring really reminds me of Seth Rollins. Not that they are a carbon copy of each other. Just that amount of talent and such.
I’m getting whiplash on news of Jay White, Hikuleo and Tama Tonga all having expiring contracts soon.
Im starting to think NJPW is feeding sources to keep the kayfabe of this match alive. Especially since reports have been saying Jay has over 18 months left on his deal. I’m definitely intrigued now.
I would dig it if they were. Not going to lie, makes it unpredictable then. I wouldn't care if NJPW dumped the story to the sheets just for the illusion.I’m getting whiplash on news of Jay White, Hikuleo and Tama Tonga all having expiring contracts soon.

Eh, I don't think I can fully state my opinion on that. My Jay White exposure is probably less than you. When it comes to MJF though, not pushing him to the main event in the past year probably would be the equivalent of not pushing Rocky after delivered the "die, rocky, die" promo.Maybe a bit of hot take but in a "perfect world where contracts dont matter" id push White over MJF as top heel n give MJF more time. Mjf is amazing but i think his ceiling his high n has plenty of room to improve. White is a finished product. #mbim2high

oh absolutely don't disagree with Tony's decision here, with everything going on, pushing MJF was the only choice and the right one. I meant more in a fantasy scenario where none of that matters and you have both guys with a clean slate. In the context of AEW now, I'm with Chris that is would be interesting to see where he would slot after the initial BC feud. it's a fair discussion to haveEh, I don't think I can fully state my opinion on that. I fully agree with this. If AEW had Switchblade and didn’t use him to his full potential, I’d be insanely upset with him. MJF definitely has plenty of time to improve and he’s getting his run now, anyway.Maybe a bit of hot take but in a "perfect world where contracts dont matter" id push White over MJF as top heel n give MJF more time.
