Interesting, he's lived here for awhile I believe so I guess I'm only half surprised he doesn't wanna do Japan full time. It's just where he goes that could be a shock

could be as simple as money but hard to tell. What else can he really achieve as a Gaijin that's not entirely known for workrate ? Outside of beating Okada at wrestle kingdom, he may have hit his ceiling in Japan? He's never going to be able to pull off the Omega/Ospreay route of being the best in the ring (not a knock, those guys r just insane) , so thinking about it logically, I can see the next logical step is to become a main event player on American television. His best asset is his mouth too

Yeah I just think he's leveraged all he can in Japan at this point to get a big contract in America so that's what he's doing. And if it doesn't work out he knows he could always go back to NJPW

yeah that's kind of my take as well which is why I think him killing it is a out there take. I thought EVIL and AEW existing was a much bigger factor in BC almost disbanding and quite frankly under another leader it probably would have died

Probably would be 0 current Bullet Club influence in North America without him either, him and Rocky were the ones that pushed for Ace and Bey to join I think I read

Certainly not going to say no to more US of Jay. I really enjoyed watching him in Impact, and I'd actually credit him being around for bringing my interest back in to it. Be interested to see where he goes, and still a huge plethora of match-ups for him.

It's interesting bc as much as I like the guy I don't really see him main eventing in either WWE or AEW much even if he's good enough. Both have others I imagine would (and probably should) be pushed more than him. Outside of Bullet Club related angles in AEW, idk if he'd ever be at the top of the card with MJF a similar style heel

I actually would disagree with him being able to main event. The talent he has on the mic and in the ring really reminds me of Seth Rollins. Not that they are a carbon copy of each other. Just that amount of talent and such.
