Jay Lethal's Return to ROH Announced

Ring of Honor announced that their next Internet PPV "Best in the World 2011" will take place on Sunday 6/26 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.


Already set for that event will be Jay Lethal's first appearance for the company since June 2006. Lethal was a regular in ROH as a member of Special K and later Samoa Joe's protege in the company.
Lethal, who held the ROH Pure championship during his run, headlined ROH's first major event in NYC, "Manhattan Mayhem", teaming with Joe against Low Ki and Homicide.

It will be good seeing Lethal back in ROH. Finally he will be used right and will be able to get over due to his wrestling skill rather than the ability to be a mini Savage. TNA dropped the ball by releasing him and hopefully WWE sign the guy. He is only 26 and he could be a great addition to either brand.

It is a perfect deal for both sides, ROH have the services of one of the best up and comers in the business who should by now have a fairly loyal fan base, and Lethal gets a fresh start in a promotion like Troy said who will use him good and that will fit his style well.
