Ring of Honor management are happy to announce that they have come to terms with Jay Lethal and he is now officially under ROH contract. The former ROH Pure Champion was a part of Ring of Honor from 2003 – 2006 and in that time frame captured the ROH Pure Title, contended for the ROH Tag Titles, and battled everyone from CM Punk to Samoa Joe to Christopher Daniels.

Returning to the fold at “Best in the World 2011″, Lethal defeated “The Prodigy†Mike Bennett and is now scheduled to challenge for the ROH World TV Title against champion El Generico THIS Saturday night in Chicago Ridge, IL!

“Jay Lethal is a wrestler that the ROH fans have watched grow up right in front of them.†Said ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette, “From his days with Special K to his battles over the Pure Title, Jay Lethal became a man in front of the ROH fans and now that he’s back in Ring of Honor, we can all see how much of a fighter he has become. It’s exciting to have him back here with us, and I for one look forward to seeing him and Generico go at it on SBG TV!â€

I really like(d) Lethal. He's a good wrestler and can cut a decent promo, what made me really lose interest in him was that absolutely abysmal Macho Man gimmick he had in TNA and I lost all interest in him and the product (which was already pretty low at that point.)

I didn't mind the whole Macho Man gimmick, but yeah he can do good work in the ring and i'm glad he signed with Ring Of Honor.

Good news for old school ROH fans who remember Lethal being in ROH years ago before going to TNA, like myself. He's a really good wrestler and TNA's loss is ROH's gain. Now if ROH can get The Young Bucks signed that would even awesomer.

Yeah i have a few of his matches from years ago in ROH saved on my other computer, and yeah The Young Bucks in Ring Of Honor would be sick.

Lethal's so fucking great. I don't think he has the charisma/confidence to pull off a main-event run anywhere, not without using a gimmick like the impersonations, but he's very good at everything. I don't know why WWE wouldn't look his way.

i don't mind Lethal he has solid matches, as TROY & ABED said he is not main-eventer but he would make a great challenger for the tv title.

Yeah he's no maineventer but he can put on some good matches and promos, and i perfer him in Ring Of Honor over WWE. Don't think they'd use him right at all.
