Through television, we are granted a lens by which to view others that lead different lives and live in different worlds. For Jason “The Gift” Kincaid, “different” is an understatement. Kincaid grew up in a one-room trailer with no plumbing in the mountains of West Virginia, isolated from the fabric of American culture that sews us all together.

Using any means he could, Kincaid, who describes himself as “gifferent”, scraped through life to become a top independent professional wrestler. Viewers of Ring of Honor television will be transported to a world of “Kinovations” as Jason Kincaid is the next entry in the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament!
“The Gift” heads to Charlotte with a demented view of the world but with wrestling credentials that make him more than worth of a spot in the Top Prospect Tournament. The 2015 ECWA Super 8 winner, Kincaid is one of only a few competitors in this year's tournament that possess international experience in Canada and Mexico. Don’t mistake his irregular speech pattern for stupidity, his unkempt appearance for carelessness, or his rural roots for ignorance: Kincaid uses mind games and innovative offense to put opponents away and is a favorite to leave the finals in Nashville with a ROH contract!
While other competitors boast of their training pedigrees and opponents defeated, Kincaid enters this year’s TPT as its greatest mystery. For Kincaid, this is exactly the type of mystery that he enjoys; it creates a competitive advantage from which victories can be bred.
Kincaid impressed ROH officials at a recent camp with what he calls “Technical Wizardry”. The 6’0”, 190 lbs possesses a cerebral style with explosiveness that draws comparisons to Jinsei Shinzaki. Kincaid might be the lightest competitor in the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament but should not be discounted on size alone. “The Gift” has the ability to use his cerebral advantages as well as his expansive move set to dismember any competitor and leave Nashville, TN ROH’s 2016 Top Prospect!
