According to John Pollock of the Fight Network, there was a scary moment at the TNA house show in London, Ontario. During a tag team match featuring Beer Money and The Motor City Machineguns, James Storm was completely knocked out.

Storm was rushed to the hospital, and was diagnosed with a concussion. There is no word on the status of tonight’s TNA Tag Team Title Match that was to see Beer Money defend the titles against LAX.

------------

Fortunately for Candice Michelle, she returned on a night in which Raw was being taped because according to a fan in attendance, she messed up at least four spots within a 30 second period. Only one of them was fit to be broadcast as the rest were completely edited out. Candice botched a flying headscissors and as well as a crossbody, which led to the crossbody off the top that Beth rolled through. She then botched a springboard back elbow attempt as she stumbled on the ropes, which garnered some boos from the audience. Candice then botched a reversal. Following this, there’s another spot in which it’s hard to tell what she’s doing exactly as there was some Ashley Massaro quality grappling on her part. She then hit the small package on Beth for the pin. “Mickie James’ expressions on her face while watching this were priceless,†the person in attendance noted. A fan in attendance recorded footage of Candice’s numerous botches that ended up being edited out. The video doesn’t show all of the botches as there were apparently a few more not shown. You can see the video at http://www.megavideo.com/?v=85GS6248. Despite Candice’s less than stellar showing (although it was her first match back and second match in nearly ten months), WWE booked her for a WWE Women’s Championship match with Beth Phoenix at next month’s No Mercy pay-per-view anyway.

------------

Apparently WWE told another lie on this past Monday’s “Did You Know? segment on Raw. WWE claimed that Raw is the longest running weekly entertainment show in history with more episodes than ER, Seinfeld and The Simpsons combined. As of the conclusion of last season, The Simpsons has run a total of 420 episodes. According to websites, ER ran a total of 309 episodes through last season and Seinfeld ran 180 episodes during its existence. When you add the three shows together, you get 909 episodes. According to EpisodeWorld.com, there have been a total of 801 episode of Raw through last Monday. Also, the “longest-running†note appears to be a bit misleading. On Wikipedia, “longest-running†is judged by number of seasons, not number of episodes. WWE Monday Night Raw has been on the air since January 1993 for a total of 15 seasons whereas The Simpsons has been on the air since December 1989 for a total 19 seasons through last May.

Funny because I read somewhere else that during that same house show, people claim that Jacqueline had his teeth knocked down.

I hope Storm is ok, the TNA World Tag Team title match is going to be great but if he doesn't show up it might not be that good, of course it all depends on who they find as a replacement. As for Candice, I was going to post a thread about how Candice has improved as a wrestler...until I saw that :nonono:

lol at Candice but to be fair she hasn't been in the ring in a while. But still that doesn't excuse how many times she botched. You think she would have hit the ropes a few times before getting back in.

In an update/correction of the James Storm injury situation, he actually did not suffer a concussion as previously reported. Storm took a stiff clothesline to the throat, and began to have issues with his breathing. Many had a fear that Storm would be seriously injured, like Scott Steiner was in Puerto Rico, but Storm was released from the hospital last night and as of now he should be working the PPV.

In the same match Jackie Moore lost “several teeth” on a spot where Storm was whipped into Moore, who was on the apron. There is no word on her participation for tonight’s show, but most expect her to work the show.

Fuck the Candice naysayers. As if the people criticizing can do a better job. She's been gone for a bit, and went through 2 or so surgeries; I'm not going to make up excuses for her lackluster performance as of late, but damn, give her break.

As for WWE lying; of course they did. I thought it was common knowledge they lie on a daily basis. When is it ever a surprise?

Sucks for James Storm, concussions can lead to serious repercussions on the guy's career, like it did for a few other wrestlers. I hope he can recover, as it's never good when someone gets injured.

WTF, why the hell are these idiots hitting each other with stiff clotheslines!? Don't they understand that it's dangerous??

She wasn't any better before that really either. And are you saying that since we can't wrestle better than her, we shouldn't criticize her? And if she just came back and still has to work off A LOT of ring rust, why is she being pushed?

Monday Night RAW does a new episode every week 52 weeks a year though. If the Simpsons do 22 episodes a year for 19 seasons, and RAW does 52 a year for 15 seasons that would mean that RAW's season length is over 2 and 1/3 times the length of the Simpsons season. If you were to break it up by length to where it would equal the Simpsons....RAW would be close to 36 season.

Meh, just in the heat of the moment. I didn't really mean anything by it, TBH. Still, I know she botches quite a bit, but there's room for some improvement. It's her first match back in ages, though I do agree she shouldn't be getting a title shot so soon.

If Candice wrestled so bad noone can say its because she was away for so long, she would have definitly practiced and wrestled before going on RAW live to wrestle. She didn't get cleared to fight and then just jump on RAW, she would have had alot of time to practise and get back up to standard, unless Vince put her back in the ring to quickly which would not be the case. She used to suck, then she began improving and now she sucks again :smh

OK, good. I'm always open to anyone improving. Candice did show a lot of improvement at one point, but it kind of plateaued after a while.

actually I know that a lot of sportscasters here in the midwest reference it for NBA Playoff ratings because its apparently really well done. Of course some of these same guys go there and make pages for their partner and make shit up so I dunno, lol.
