Gimmick: A hard-nosed vet of the British independent scene, Jack Noble, better known to the wrestling world as "Jack The Clipper", started off in his youth as quite a promising rugby player before a knee injury put paid to that. So he got involved in pro wrestling. But, of course, the British wrestling scene wasn't as lucrative as today. So in his younger days working a bland babyface young lion gimmick, he ended up having to sleep in his car and get a part-time job at a local barber, sweeping hair; soon, it became something of a rib that he worked in hairdressers, including paying off announcers to refer to him as Jack "The Clipper" even to the point where he was actively given a "Hair cutting" gimmick complete with scissors, It's a testament to his charisma and ring skills that this stupid gimmick got over. And for ten years, he became a fixture of the mid-card…
...until the day he finally snapped, tired of being the butt of the jokes and mocked and treated as a sideshow his entire career, he shockingly stabbed his tag team partner in the back with a pair of scissors, going on a vicious, brutal streak through the independents targeting those that treat wrestling like a good time, before brutally shaving and cutting their hair…
...and apparently, now he's opening his barber shop in the states
Style of wrestling (brawler, high flyer, technical, etc.):
He is massively powerful but also deceptively quick, thanks to his rugby experience. He uses his bulk well, dominating with weight-based moves like avalanches, splashes, and bear hugs; this guy has no flash. He's old school as they come, no 640 springboards flipping flip flips from Jack, no, he's just happy to give you a no-thrills beat down...with maybe just a few cheap shots thrown in. It's well known that Jack is a cheating bastard, whose been known to take more than a few creative shortcuts, which don't TECHNICALLY break the rules but are certainly not totally fine; for example, he cuts the hair on his upper arms (Get it? Because he's a barber?!) into short spikes that he loves to GRIND into his opponents face, it's also rumoured that he coats his arms in deep heat, the idea being he gets you in a headlock, gets that on your face, the more likely it is for that stuff to get in your eyes and irritate and impair your vision.
Signature
-Over-the-top rope suicide dive
-The Fade (Pull back whiplash into a clothesline using the opponent's own arm.)
-Short back and sides-Series of Slaps to the back of the opponent's head ( More used for humiliation than impact but y'know, a large hand... should hurt a bit.)
Fade Zone-Rolling fireman's carry slam from the 2nd rope
Chapel Street-Waist-lock to an on-coming opponent thrown into a sit-out spin-out Powerbomb
Barbbreaker- Backbreaker – After delivering, it pulls the opponent up with their back resting on his shoulder and drops down again quickly.
Upper-CUTTER- STIFF Polish Hammer
Finishers
The Clipper Cutter-An, innovative reverse headlock suplex lift transitioned into a cutter. Jack has been known to hit this move in different situations, including the 2nd and 3rd rope, as well as the turnbuckle and catching an opponent mid-air.
LITTLE OFF THE TOP!- Lariat sometimes while running, into the corner, to the back of the head, with a discus
FC: The Butcher
Theme Music:
Valets;
The Scissor Sisters- Barbara and Dyeanne.
Which one is Barbara? And which one is Dyeanne? Good luck figuring it out. This gruesome twosome are the loyal minions of Jack who lurk outside the ring, just waiting for the ref to turn their back so they can cheat on their boss's behalf, even splashing some of the dreaded "BLUE STUFF" in the opponent's eyes or even on hand to hand Jack, scissors.
Interestingly enough, one speaks in a thick cockney accent and the other sounds like she's auditioning for the crown. Go figure.
