-- SmackDown play-by-play announcer Jim Ross reportedly makes the same amount of money as ECW announcer Mike Adamle. Both are believed to be making in the neighborhood of $300,000 per year. In 2005, WWE offered Mike Goldberg far more money to jump from UFC to Raw.

-- Ted DiBiase's older brother Mike DiBiase, 30, who works the indy circuit, got a look at last week's Raw taping in San Antonio. The youngest DiBiase brother, Brett DiBiase, 20, is currently training at WWE's facility in Tampa to be a pro wrestler. There was recently an article on "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase in Clinton (MS) News and he said, "My understanding is that Brett is becoming a standout student. All my wrestling friends tell me, 'The kid’s got it.'" Now that he's no longer in developmental, Ted Jr. is planning on moving back to Clinton, MS at the end of the year, and will be marrying his high school sweetheart.

-- While we've been reporting that Big Daddy V was taken off the road due to pressure from the company to lose weight, he was also taken off the road due to an illness (believed to be pneumonia). Nonetheless, he is healthy now and scheduled to return to television on SmackDown very soon.

wrestling observerYay for V.

Hire Brett and Mike.

Damn that's pretty cheep to pay for an announcer...Yet again it's probably way more then they pay half of the diva's...Damn V needs to lose some weight...or put a shirt back on...He just ridiculously fat...It's kinda repulsive...

Big Daddy V needs to go back to that world's largest love machine gimmick, that was great . JR gets paid well I guess, I would have made him the highest paid announcer in the WWE though.

JR should be making more than Adamle because he's better than him and he's been there far longer. At the same time though $300,000 a year for working one day a week and getting to announce something you love is a pretty damn good salary.

Definately, JR should be the top paid announcer... though 300,000 isn't bad really at all.. gawd I'd like 300,000...

A recent piece from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter posted earlier indicated that Jim Ross receives an approximate annual salary of $300,000. That is incorrect as the actual figure is much higher.

Since WWE is a publicly traded company, the salaries of most of their executives are available for public viewing. Jim Ross' actual salary is US$782,959. Other WWE Execs' salaries and bios can be found at Reuters by clicking here.

^Interesting. That sounds a lot better and more true to be honest. There's no way that JR should be making the same amount of money as Mike Adamle. Talent aside just based on the amount of time he's been with the company he should be way ahead of Adamle.

Mike Adamle came with credibily though, and it wasn't like WWE took him out of the gutter, he had another job offer, so I guess WWE paid him more to go work with them.

Mike is a completely different beast to Ted Jr. He's um, a lot rougher I guess I would say.

Yeah, so those of you saying he should join Ted and Cody, I wouldn't do it. IMO Mike would be a lot better suited to being called the outcast of the family, and should feud with Ted.

One would assume they will since he is a DiBiase, and he is learning to wrestle with them.
