TRADITION MEETS EXTREME

In 1994, there was two powers in wrestling promotions, the WWF owned by Vince McMahon and WCW owned by Ted Turner. Many of the regional promotions that have helped the world of wrestling since the beginning had been going out of business for the last few years. Such legendary promotions as AWA, World Class and NWA had been forced to stop promoting. Other promotions like USWA and SMW were soon going to be joining them. But up in the Eastern part of the United States a tiny promotion called Eastern Championship Wrestling was on the upswing. Much of the reason was the vision of owner Todd Gordon and Head Booker, Paul Heyman, who made a deal with the NWA Board of Directors to let them use the NWA titles giving the promotion instant crediblity. But a disagreement between the two groups will change wrestling forever.

The NWA decided to hold a tournament that will end with ECW wrestler, Shane Douglas taking home the title but ECW owner Todd Gordon will have different ideas after their squabble. After winning the title, Shane Douglas threw down the NWA title in disgust and unveiled the new ECW World Title. The NWA was outraged and in turn turned to another struggling promotion for their revenge attempt.

The NWA approached USWA owner, Jerry Lawler with the thoughts of Lawler winning a new NWA World Title Tournament and to have it take over as the main title in the USWA. Lawler agreed and defeated good friend, Eddie Gilbert in the finals. Lawler fulfilled the wishes of the NWA Board of Directors and began berating ECW and their new violent style on most USWA broadcasts.

Ratings went up for the USWA and ECW in the time period as their regional broadcasts were getting talked about nationwide. Soon NWA officials had dreams of making a large scale comeback and began discussions with AWA owner,Verne Gagne. They agreed to have to an AWA World Title Tournament and to have Jerry Lawler win it also. Lawler went into Minnesota and defeated Curt Hennig in the finals. This led to the NWA dreams of the NWA, AWA and USWA World Titles being transformed into one title, The Triple Crown, an idea stolen from All-Japan Wrestling. Qucikly the title went up in significance and became the third biggest title in the wrestling world.

But unknown to the NWA Board of Directors secret meetings was taking place all along between Jerry Lawler and ECW owner Todd Gordon. When in part of the agreement, Jerry Lawler, Jerry Jarrett and Verne Gagne taking over seats on the NWA Board of Directors and a shift in power in their favor, the master plan was put in effect.

Soon to the disgust of the ousted NWA Board Members, Lawler and the now renamed World Class Championshiop Wrestling promotion started a cross-promotional feud with the renamed Extreme Championship Wrestling promtion. This led to the first ever pay per view card for the promotions as Triple Crown Champion , Jerry Lawler battled ECW World Champion, Shane Douglas to a 30-minute time limit draw. The match ended up winning the "PWI" match of the year as well as a new fan base for both promotions.

Armed now with nationwide television deals, both promotions was able to compete for free agents with the bigger promotions, WCW and WWE. Soon wrestling legends, Ricky Steamboat, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, "Ravishing" Rick Rude,Jake Roberts, Curt Hennig and "Macho Man" Randy Savage started calling WCCW home as ECW centered on raising homegrown talent like Taz, Sabu, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero. The signings of the bigger name talent was a problem for ECW Todd Gordon as he thought that they were risking it all with them and soon sold out to his Head Booker, Paul Heyman, who thought the bigger names was a necessity if they wanted to take the next step. But the signings that will change the wrestling world was soon to come.

In 1995, Eric Bischoff got rid of two "problematic" stars, "Stunning" Steve Austin and Brian Pillman, who was a successful tag team as the "Hollywood Blondes" but wanted something totally different for themselves. When the WWE ignored their request for the characters, Heyman and Lawler listened to their ideas and signed them to contracts. "Stone Cold" and "The Loose Cannon" was born.

Instantly the two became big stars as they showed on both shows, sitting with the crowd and supposedly in the midst of a bidding war between the two rivals. But things soon changed as Austin and Pillman soon attacking both promotions, staying on their own. The pay per view "Super Clash '96'" became the biggest pay per view in promotion history, as Stone Cold challenged "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Pillman challenged ECW World Champion, Shane Douglas. Both men came out victorious and celebrated at the end only to have Pillman attack his friend and the ECW and WCCW battle lines being drawn once again.

The two promotions would never be the same as they rode the popularity of the two stars to power. They soon moved to prime time television on the TNN Network and displaced WCW as the number two promotion to the WWE. When WCW folded after AOL's takeover of Time Warner, the two became the last ones standing.

Fifteen years later the war between the two powers are still going as the WWE have stolen the idea of two promotional battle setting up their two shows as seperate brands. This hasn't cheapen the uniques storyline of the WCCW/ECW on-going battle as the two hold two cross-promotional pay per views a year. WCCW/ECW has been able to keep many of their wrestlers while adding more as free agents and their own homegrown talent, that has resulted in an unbelievably well-balanced roster for the two.

The wrestling world was changed forever when TRADITION MET EXTREME

(I know some people will complain about me starting a BTB before 30 days but others have done it so some am I. I have waited the old time period from the pre-BKB days. Also I would like to say contrary to my other BTBS, this will be a IWF "exclusive", I think me focusing on this site and it's development will help me finally stick with one. Also to the people that nominated my last BTB thanks but please delete my nominations but I hope this one will just take their places)

(Further, I don't want to a double post off the bat but I'm having serious format problems (my first time doing a roster page with a form of GFX (they're shitty but I don't care). If a mod can form them into one without the problems, feel more then ready to do so)

They have wrestled a who's who's in tag team wrestling as they have victories over The Nasty Boys, Public Enemy. The Gangstas, The Eliminators, Impact Players, The Samoan Swat Team, Steiner Brothers and The Road Warriors. The Dudleys soon found their spots threatened by the debut of the Hardy Brothers that soon found the teams exchanging the titles. After a match with the Hardys that left the Dudleys laid out, they went searching for what was missing and then we saw the comeback of Joel Gertner as their manager. Now with Gertner at their side again , The Dudleys defeated The Hardys and are back on the top.

Rest of the Roster

Rob_Van_Dam_4.png

"Mr. Saturday Night" Rob Van Dam

Arguably the most popular wrestler in ECW, RVD is a true legend for the promotion. His revolutionary style was debuted as he was brought in by Shane Douglas as part of the Triple Threat with Bam Bam Bigelow. RVD and Bigelow soon won the ECW Tag Titles but after losing them Shane Douglas became jealous of RVD and kicked him out of the group. RVD soon defeated Douglas for his first of six ECW World Title reigns, In addition RVD has held the ECW Tag Titles 3x as well as being ECW TV Champion 5x. RVD shocked fans when he left ECW to be his wife in 2006 and has made occasional appearances since much like Sting and Bret Hart in WCCW.

Razor_cutout_by_dipset1.png

Scott Hall

In 2004, Scott Hall was jobless and burned bridges in every other promotion when Paul Heyman gave him one chance to revive his career in ECW. Hall from that point has made the most of it becoming one of the top heels in ECW. With the debut of good friend, Sean Waltman soon the two found them in a big feud with the Dudleys winning and losing the ECW Tag Team Titles. Recently Hall has been on the hunt for the one thing missing from his career and that is a World Title reign as he has been taunting Eddie Guerrero for weeks with his former Razor Ramon gimmick.

02.jpg

"The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman

Pillman showed up with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the two played themselves up as the two hottest free agents in the business and challenged both the WCCW Triple Crown Champion and ECW World Champion to matches where both came out on top. Pillman then showed his new alliance to ECW attacking Austin after their brief celebration. Austin and Pillman soon became one of the biggest feuds in wrestling history. Pillman is a former 9x ECW World Champion and has been the thorn in the side to anybody that has wrestled in the main event scene. Always with one eye on the World Title, Pillman has shown a disdain to newcomers to ECW, very quickly babtizing them to the ECW style with some sort of vicious attack. His unprovoked attack on Christian Cage put him out of action as Pillman now has turned his eyes on Jeff Hardy.

shanedouglas1.png

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas

Douglas will go down as the most hated wrestler by fans and most of the ECW Front Office. The 8x ECW World Champion's career has been filled with chaos culimlating with his personal strike when Ric Flair became ECW World Champion. His demands through the years to Owner Paul Heyman has been causes for his release on three different occassions but Heyman learns nobody can create heat from the fans like Douglas and always brings him back.

kane_2.png

Doomsday

The near seven foot masked monster debuted first in WCCW in the fall of 1995 with his tag team partner The Nighstalker managed by Paul Ellering . The two quickly found themselves the WCCW Tag Team Champions after dominating the Road Warriors in a steel cage match. After three more title reigns, the two had a falling out with Ellering and took on Tammy Sytch as their manager. Soon Sytch lured them to leave WCCW and go to ECW. In the new promotion things soon soured as they were unable to win the ECW Tag Titles and eventually the duo split. The Nighstalker was renamed Wrath and joined a version of Raven's Nest while Doomsday stayed on his own and became a fan favorite.
He went on to become a 3x ECW World Champion. Now refocused it seems that he has his eyes on Scott Hall and Eddie Guerrero and the ECW World Title.

Booker_T_2.png

Booker T

Booker shocked the wrestling world when he showed up in ECW after his WWE run by dumping his "King Booker" crown in the trash. Booker has become more vicious then any other time in his career showing a more "street" personality. His vicious assaults on Christian Cage demonstrated them when he became ECW Televison Champion. Recently Booker has start his own group called the "Playas Club" as "The Truth" Ron Killings, Elijah Burke and Shad Ghadspard has joined. The foursome has been wreaking havoc in ECW every since targeting LAX.

SuitePSDs_PSD_19220_ChristianCageTB.png

"The Instant Classic" Christian Cage

Cage showed up in ECW in 2006 moreless filling the void left by RVD. Cage soon found himself thrust into the main event scene defeating Chris Jericho for the ECW World Title. Cage has went on to capture the World Title two more times. Cage then went on to a ECW Tag Team Title reign with Lance Storm but the two fell out of favor with each other resulting in a nasty feud. Recently Cage has found himself taking attacks from the "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman, taking him out of action for the last few months. Everybody is waiting for Cage's revenge.

Mick_Foley.png

Cactus Jack

Cactus Jack has put his body on the line for ECW in numerous occassions as is the rightful King of Extreme. Nobody has bled more in a ECW ring and still active then Jack. The sacrifice has paid off as Jack is a former 2x ECW World Heavyweight Champion, 3x former Television Champion and has held the World Tag Team Titles twice with the legendary, Terry Funk. In later years, Jack has became big outside the world of wrestling becoming a top selling author with his series of biographies and children books. Jack retired once and became "The Ringmaster" of ECW but recently has been brought out of retirement after attacks from Tommy Dreamer.

5ae46f13f84c77f8.jpg

MUTA

MUTA has been in out of World Class and ECW for years, spending time here in the states and in Japan. MUTA has won both ECW World Title and the Triple Crown titles. His match with Rob Van Dam in 2003 was the Match of the Year. He redebuted in ECW with an attack of Rey Mysterio and forming the TRIAD group with KENTA and TAJIRI with valet, Kimona Wanalaya. This is said to be the his last run in the states in his historic career.

SuitePSDs_PSD_10521_ReyMysterioTB40.png

Rey Mysterio Jr.

The smallest ECW World Champion in history, Rey has the heart of the ECW fans more then any other wrestler, His triumphs and failures have been embraced by everybody. His strong ties with other Latino superstars have been strong and has oftern find them teaming together against other factions. The last couple of years have been a loss for Rey due to couple knee surgeries. Rey's latest comeback was a success when he defeated Christian Cage was overshadowed by a sneak attack by MUTA afterwards. The next few weeks saw Rey fighting an uphill battle versus MUTA and the other members of The TRIAD, KENTA and TAJIRI until Konnan's new tag team, Homicide and Hernandez came to his rescue. Now that the sides are even Rey is ready for retribution.

Raven_5.png

Raven

The master of the head games, Raven is one of the biggest reason for ECW's success. In the early days Raven was a 6x ECW World Champion with his versions of the Raven's Nest usually being the biggest force in the promotion. In the later years, Raven has been pushed out of the main event scene often filling different roles in the company. Spending time as an announcer, The Ring Master and managers, Heyman has brought Raven back and he has reassemble the Raven's Nest with Abyss, Perry Saturn, Rhino. and Ekmo. Raven has often served as the manager outside being the differences in the matches between the two groups but now he has been neutralized by the reapperance of Kevin Sullivan helping Taz.

X-Pac1.png

"Mr. Chaos" Sean Waltman

Following his good buddy, Scott Hall to ECW, Waltman has also cleaned himself up. Taking home Tag Team gold with his friend revived his career as Waltman now finds himself feuding with Chavo Guerrero trying to help Scott Hall's quest for the ECW World Title.

SuitePSDs_PSD_12291_LanceStormCBROc.png

Lance Storm

Anothe mainstay in ECW, Storm is the one wrestler that can never breakthrough to main event status. A 6x Tag Team Champion and a 5x Television Champion is still impressive though. The debut of his estranged half brothers,James and Robert Storm of Beer Money, saw him vanquish hsi sibilings out of ECW with the help of Christian Cage. After his feud with Cage, Storm has found himself teaming with fellow Canadian, Mike Awesome in search of ECW Tag Team Gold.

TAZZ.jpg

Tazz

An ECW legend, Tazz has captured every ECW title at least 3 times. Debuting in a tag team with Sabu under the tutelage of Kevin Sullivan, Taz soon found himself a cult following with the fans. His many suplexes and submissions make him a crowd favorite. He has had lengthy feuds with Shane Douglas, Rob Van Dam, former parnter Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. Recently he is reliving one of his famous feuds as him and Raven have crossed paths again. The new version of Raven's Nest has made Tazz look for help and that came with his students, Samoa Joe and Mike Knox and also once again friend, Sabu. Everything came back full circle for Tazz as Kevin Sullivan reappeared and helped Taz to defeat Raven in a dog-collar match.

AWESOME.jpg

Mike Awesome

Awesome debuted as moreless a "hitman" for Shane Douglas during his last ECW World Title reign. He often viciously attacked World Title hopefuls under the command of Douglas but soon Awesome grew tired of taking orders and turned on Shane. Douglas though brought back his former Triple Threat partner, Bam Bam Bigelow to fill Awesome's role and Bigleow helped Douglas defeat Awesome in his chances to take the title. Awesome then went on to feud with Cactus Jack capturing the ECW Televison Title before forming now a tag team with Lance Storm.

2179233192_f3ddc519c1.jpg

Perry Saturn

Saturn is best known as one half of "The Eliminators' but after a career-ending injury by partner John Kronus, Saturn was left to compete by himself. Soon Saturn was taken under the spell of Raven and has served him ever since as the number two man in The Raven's Nest. With Raven's help Saturn has captured the ECW Televison Title once and teamed up with him on two occasions becoming World Tag Team champs.

Samoa_Joe.png

Samoa Joe

A product of ROH developmental program, Joe is one of the fast rising stars in ECW. The protege of Taz, Jeo debuted helping out his mentor in his on-going feud with The Raven's Nest. Joe has found recent trouble with his fellow Samoan descendant, Ekmo Fatu, after the latter became the newest member of Raven's group. Now teaming up with fellow Taz student, Mike Knox the two has been facing ofter the two big men from The Raven's Nest, Abyss and Ekmo.

Umaga_7.png

Ekmo Fatu

Fatu is the last remaining member of the former team "The Samoan Savages". Since the release of Kimo and Kishi Fatu, Ekmo has tried to find his way in the single competition but his quick temper has cost him too many chances. Ekmo was becoming popular with the crowd when he surprised his newly found fans when he attacked friend, Samoa Joe and joined up Raven.

Shad_Gaspard1_cutout_by_Crank.png

Shad

Shad debuted after a stint at ROH following his release from WWE. Shad soon joined Booker T's group ""The Playas Club" as Club Security. Shad has spent his time coming to ring to help out Booker T and the tag team Elijah Burke and Ron Killings, interfering in many matches. Shad rarely steps in the ring, proving his worth as the X-Factor on the outside.

JHardy.png

Jeff Hardy

When Jeff debuted in ECW in 2004, he had a hard being accepted by the ECW faithful, who often chanted for him to return to the WWE. The fans thought Hardy was too much of a pretty boy to ever make it big in ECW but that all in changed in 2006 when Hardy did a Senton Bomb of the balcony of the Hammerstein Ballroom sending Jerry Lynn through a table. From there Jeff was accepted and went on to win the Television Title 2 times. When his brother Matt joined him in ECW, the two went rght after the Dudleys and the two have become the most dominant teams in ECW trading back the titles on four occassions. Recently a strong showing in a singles matchup with Brian Pillman has people talking about maybe it's time for Hardy to breakout on his own.

Sabu_2.png

Sabu

Another ECW pioneer, Sabu was brought in with Taz by Kevin Sullivan and instantly became one of the promotions biggest star. The 5x ECW World Champion, 3x Television Champion and 4x Tag Team Champion, will do anything to win a match or hurt his opponent. The last couple of years Sabu's wrestling time has been cut short by a series of nagging injuries caused by his early daredevil style. But Sabu has returned to help his old friend, Taz in is feud with The Raven's Nest. Now Sabu is showing a little more techincal style cutting down on the do or die moves.

Jay_Lethal_5.png

"Black Machismo" Jay Lethal

A rookie called up from ROH this year. Lethal is a crowd favorite. The perennial underdog was brought of the crowd one night in an open challenge by Muhammad Hassan on a World Class broadcast. Although he lost to Hassan, ECW saw something in him and signed him to a contract. He soon showed up with a Macho Man like gimmick. After a beatdown by Abyss, fans were in shock when the real Macho Man showed up. Many people thought he was angry taking the gimmick as an insult but Savage quickly helped Lethal up and has become one of his biggest fans often rooting him on from the announce table.

SuitePSDs_PSD_8159_TommyDreamerTB40.png

"Mr. Hardcore" Tommy Dreamer

The glue that has held ECW together, Dreamer has been the jack of all trades. His role has been whatever Owner Paul Heyman puts him in retro to what other stars are healthy. Most to fans disdain Dreamer has never held ECW title gold of any kind in his career. Dreamer is also the only ECW star to be "retired" by CM Punk to comeback but on Punk's side. Dreamer now mostly serves as Punk's manager, helping the TV champ by doing dirty work.

SuitePSDs_PSD_15005_ChavoGuerreroJr.png

Chavo Guerrero

Chavo came onto to the scene helping his Uncle Eddie win his first ECW World Title over Shane Douglas in 2001. From there Chavo and Eddie has always been linked. They have held the ECW Tag Team Titles twice as well as Chavo having a TV title tenure to his credit. He has shown a jealous side to his Uncle Eddie"S relationship with fellow wrestler, Rey Mysterio Jr. that has resulted in a couple of feuds over the years but through it all Eddie, Chavo, Rey and Konnan has always came back together in some kind turn of events.

kONNAN.jpg

Konnan

A former 4x Television Champion and 3x ECW Tag Team Champion, Konnan has been a unusal character for ECW. Konnan has probably switched between face and heel more times than anybody else in the last six years. The last couple of years, Konnan has been wrestling a part tiem schedule while appearing also in the struggling Mexican wrestling scene where he is on the biggest draws. Heyman has been willing to help giving Konnan less actual matches and allowing him to spend more time managing the tag team of LAX. Lately Konnan has had his team helping good friend, Rey Mysterio in his battle with the TRIAD.

Abyss_4.png

"The Monster" Abyss

The biggest man in ECW, Abyss is a product of ROH. Brought in by Raven, Abyss instantly made an impact by slamming Cactus Jack through a table. A man more worried about hurting people then winning matches, he has proved a perfect fit for Raven's group. Sometimes it seems that Abyss has changes of heart only to be brought back by Raven to the "Dark Side". People say Abyss has a deep secret that only Raven knows and that is what Raven uses to control him. Recently Abyss has been teaming up with the other big men in ECW, Ekmo in their stables feud with Taz and Friends.

Matt_Hardy_21.png

Matt Hardy

Matt came to ECW to join his brother and they instantly became the top challengers to the Dudleys for the ECW Tag Gold. They are 4x ECW Tag Champions and are still considered the top challengers to the titles. Unlike his brother, Jeff, Matt has been hesitant to adapt totally to the ECW style often backing away from the high risk manuevers. This has been brought into question by many ECW insiders the different futures of the two brothers.

Homicide_4.png

Homicide

A product of ROH, Homicide along with Hernandez debuted in ECW in the middle of 2008 by attacking the Guerreros under the orders of Konnan. After the feud with them, LAX has went to feud with other teams trying to get their chance at the ECW Tag Team Titles. After ending a bloody feud with Booker's T " Playas Club the are now helping Rey Mysterio in his problems with the TRIAD.

Hernandez_4.png

Hernandez

The big man of LAX, Hernandez is ranked as probably the most athletic big man in ECW.
Hernandez's claim to fame right now is his unmerciless beatdown of Shad Ghadspard of the Playa's Club sending the big man to the hospital. Now feuding with the TRIAD many people thing Hernandez's size advantage is going to be the winning factor.

Rhino_6.png

"The Manbeast" Rhino

A former 2x Televison Champion and a ECW Tag Team Champion, Rhino's "Gore" has brought fans to the feet for many years. An incredible run to start his career, Rhino was soon sidetracked by a series of injuries while other wrestlers passed him by. Rhino made his latest comeback coming and saving Taz from The Raven's Nest only to turn on Taz later and joining up with Raven. Now Rhino has found him self going after Sabu in the feud.

KENTA.png

KENTA

KENTA is one of the top young ECW stars who debuted in 2009 joining veterans MUTA and TAJIRI in the TRIAD. His GTS finishing move has been a nightmare dreamed by many ECW wrestlers. The team of him and TAJIRI has so far been undefeated in their run but now find them with their biggest test to date in the form of LAX.

16bzdhd.png

TAJIRI

TAJIRI debuted in ECW on his own in 2003 as a follower of Kevin Sullivan attacking Taz. Tajiri went on to win the Televison Champion and soon turned crowd favorite in 2005. After the turn though his career stalled and he went to his native Japan to continue his career. He has returned with MUTA and KENTA to form the TRIAD and wants to reclaim his place.

Ron_Killings.png

Ron Killings

Killings first run in ECW was oftern met by ridicule as he was seen as a joke, coming out dancing and rapping to the boos of the crowd although he was often facing heel competition. Soon Killings was released and signed with the WWE. There Killings also didn't have success but met up with Booker T, who talked to Paul Heyman about bringing Killings back with him when he signed. Heyman agreed and Killings came back with Booker and formed "The Playas Club". Now Killings isn't rapping or playing for a crowd and is looking to hurt anybody that tries to stop the group.

Elijah_Burke_byJimmyJacobs.png

Elijah Burke

Burke was in limbo much like Killings after his release from the WWE but Booker also helped him get hired. After spending some time in ROH, Burke soon debuted with Killings as the members helping Booker in his chances to win the ECW World Title. A former boxer, Elijah has been allowed to showcase his talents as he famously pummelled Chavo Guerrero unconcious in a back stage attack.

Mike_Knox_7.png

Mike Knox

A product of ROH, Knox is a former student of Taz and came to ECW to help him with the Raven's Nest. Knox has been teaming with his good friend, Samoa Joe against the monsters of The Raven's Nest, Abyss and Ekmo. Knox has been compared to Brusier Brody by many wrestling experts.

Tyler_Black.png

Tyler Black

The newest member to the roster, the ROH call-up, Black appeared begging for a role in The Raven's Nest. So far we have only seen Black doing odd errands for Raven back stage and getting fed to the wolves in the ring when Raven don't want to waste his other Nest members.

vampiro_2.png

Vampiro

A former Television Champion and 2x World Tag Team Champion, Vampiro has been a hit with the ECW fans over the year. Serving most often as a member of the Raven's Nest, Vampiro and Perry Saturn has been the mainstays.Recently Raven banished Vampiro for failing him in a match with Samoa Joe and replaced him with Ekmo. He then went to Taz offering his help but was turned down because Taz didn't trust him, believing it was a Raven trick.Since that day nobody has seen Vampiro.

Managers

gertner_bio.jpg

"The Quessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner

Gertner is the "Cinderella Story" of ECW. Starting off as just a common ring announcer, Gertner begged Heyman to turn him loose with his own spins on the wrestlers. Gertners hilarious introductions soon became a hit with fans and drew ire from many competitiors. Soon Heyman, thought Gertner could do more and teamed him up with Joey Styles in the announce booth. There the two feuded as Gertner once again showed his skills and stole many shows with his style. So Heyman then gave Gertner the role of manager of The Dudleys. The Dudleys then broke through as champions with Gertner's guidance. After two years and 6 title reigns, The Dudleys and Gertner had enough of each other and parted ways. Gertner tried to manage wrestlers but never got the same reaction and soon was out of ECW. Three year laters, Gertner found him back by the side of The Dudleys suprsiing everybody and helping them regain the titles from the Hardy Brothers.

Sharmell3_cuted_by_Crank.png

Sharmell

Sharmell is the wife of Booker T and arrived with her husband in his debut. She is now the valet of the "Playa's Club" and has no problem getting involved in the match when needed.

Daffney9_cutout_by_Crank.png

Daffney

Daffney is the girlfriend of Raven and is the only female member of The Raven's Nest in history. She is know to hid weapons for Ravens somewhere in outfit that will come in play in many matches.

Leia_Meownwo.png

GEISHA

Formerly know as Kimona Wanalaya for years she was moreless eye candy for many fans in ECW being nothing more then a prop in feuds between wrestlers she was "dating". Soon she was sent down to ROH until the creative team found a role for her on the show. She has been called back up to serve as the mouthpiece of the TRIAD and know goes by the name GEISHA

This is very interesting, I'll be paying attention to this. Since there isn't a moderator, I guess you can make this thread and I'm glad you did. I like backstories that rewrite history and make the modern day a lot more interesting. I'll definitely continue reading.

Interesting read and LOL at Stone Cold ripping off from WWE.... You've made some interesting BTB's like this by changing the timeline/history of wrestling but I still feel weird seeing some of the deceased wrestlers in 2009 lol... Looks good...

Very interesting as all of your other BTBs. I was enjoying Life without Vince and am curious to why you quit but this looks good to. The roster and especially backstory is cool. You're nominations will stay though as the voting will start pretty soon.

As the others said, very interesting. Starting a BTB like this is really what draws readers in, something that I need to learn to do. Your roster has its fair share of talents, there are a few I don't like but thats just me, there are also many guys I really like, mostly from the ECW roster. I am looking forward to see what you can do with this, and its good that you're dedicated to bringing back activity to this section, hopefully you enjoy doing this BTB and are able to stick with it. I'll make an effort to read.

(The crowd boos the "mystery" part then they erupt as the sound of a window breaking is heard throughout the arena as we see World Class"s Triple Crown Champion, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin appear on the entrance ramp with beer in hand and is not looking too happy about the recent announcements. The camera turns quickly to Cornette, as we see an obvious gulp goes down his throat as "Stone Cold" comes down to the ring)

JR: "What an announcement! Stone Cold will not be taking anybody one-on-one this year at Super Clash but he will have to take on FIVE of the best wrestlers World Class has to offer."

King" I can't believe it JR, but by the look on his face, Cornette is already regretting his decision as Stone Cold doesn't look too pleased."

(Stone Cold enters the ring and takes one big chug of his beer before throwing into the crowd. He starts pacing around the frightened Cornette as Jim tries to reason with the champ.)

JR: "Cornette looks more scared then a long-tailed cat in a room of rocking chairs, King."

King: "If I was Jim, I would be getting the hell out of there, now. They don't call him "The Texas Rattlesnake" for being kind."

(In the ring, Stone Cold finally jumps in the face of the nervous, Cornette. Standing there nose to nose, Cornette is relieved when Stone Cold starts to chuckle. Finally Cornette feels safe and starts to chuckle before Austin suddenly stops, looks angry again and snatches the Mic from Cornette's hand)

Austin" What the hell are you laughing at?"

(The crowd erupts as Cornette pleads his innocence)

Austin" You think this god damn funny, don't ya."

(Cornette shakes his head)

Austin: "You put me in a match which is going to have five hungry wrestlers for my championship, and then stand there and laugh at me?"

(Cornette grabs for the mic but Stone Cold holds it back enabling him from getting it)

Austin: "You need to go over their and get your own damn mic, son. You are sweating like a pig, I don't want you touching this, GOD DAMN, where's your manners. Didn't your mama raise you better than that"

(The crowd laughs as a shaken Cornette calls over a ring hand who hands him another mic)

Cornette: "Calm down, Steve, this is nothing personal. I have to put on a great show this year at Super Clash and you make it quite hard because quite frankly, you are the BEST EVER!!

(The crowd cheers, Cornette's remarks as Stone Cold smiles then mockingly laughs at Cornette)

Austin" Don't be trying to shine sunshine up my ass, Cornette before I SMACK THAT FAKE SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE!!!

(Cornette begs for Austin to calm down again as the crowd cheers him on)

Austin: "WHO WANTS TO SEE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN BREAK OUT A CAN OF WHOOP ASS RIGHT HERE ON OUR COMMISH...GIMMEEE A HELL YEAH"

(The crowd screams back "HELL YEAH")

Austin: "Well that's not good for you there, Jimmy. I think it is pretty unanimous what the crowd wants to see."

(Cornette drops to his knees, begging Austin for mercy)

Austin: "Get the hell up, you are making a fool of yourself on god damn, National Television, Don't ya have any shame? I"m not going to hurt ya,....Get up!!

(Cornette gets up shaking Austin's hand for the reprieve)

Austin: "You see Jimmy....you don't mind if I call Jimmy, do ya?...Who cares if you do or not...Anyway, I really don't care who I face at Super Clash, I don't care if it is one-on-one or a damn Battle Royal, Stone Cold is going to give someone one helluva fight, I'm gonna go in the back, grab me a cooler of some cold ones and watch the great matches here tonight, then in three weeks I"m going to go to Super Clash, whip the winners' asses and I WILL WALK OUT THE CHAMP AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE BECAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!!!!!!!

(Austin slams down the mic sending it bouncing to the floor and exits the ring to the roar of the crowd as he grabs the rest of his beer at ringside. Cornette pulls out a handkerchief out of his pocked and starts to wipe up the quite visible sweat off his face as he tries to calm his nerves as he watches Stone Cold walk to the back)

JR: "Commissioner Cornette is lucky he survived that encounter, the way Stone Cold was looking when he came to the ring, I was one hundred percent sure his fate was going to be sealed with a Stunner from the champ."

King: "JR, I think Stone Cold has more important things on his mind then Cornette. He needs to be worried about on who opponents are going to be come Super Clash '09."

JR: "That's for sure, King because any of the 10 superstars Cornette announced that will wrestle tonight in qualifying matches have the ability to walk out of Super Clash with the Triple Crown Championship around their waists."

COMMERCIAL BREAK

(We come back to JR & The King)

JR: "Wow, what a main event announced just minutes ago as Commissioner Cornette announced that the World Class Triple Crown Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin will be facing five men, who have to first win qualifying matches here later tonight."

King: "Unfortunately,JR, I have to remind our fans, Super Clash is the biggest pay per view of the year but we aren't the only promotion participating."

JR: "Everybody knows your stance, on ECW but they will also have matches at Super Clash as it it is truly the biggest wrestling pay per view of the year."

(The two is silenced as Ring Girl, Christy Hemme prances around the ring in a tight two piece red ensemble)

King: "OH MY...JR!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THE MATCH....THE RING GIRLS!!!

JR: "Calm down, King"

(We go to the ring as Christy announces that this is the first qualifying match of the evening. The music of Chris Jericho hits the arena as he gets a mixed reaction from the crowd on his way to the ring but Jericho isn't phased one bit as he looks like he is totally focused on this match with Goldberg)

JR: "With all his accomplishments, it is hard to say Chris Jericho is an underdog in any match but I have to think that Goldberg is the heavy favorite in this one, King."

King: " I have to agree with ya, JR but the past few weeks, Jericho has been on the roll since he has worried so much on what the crowd thinks about him. He has pulled out some real solid victories."

JR: "Let's call it how it is, King. They haven't been solid, he's been cheating, doing anything he has to win the match."

King: "And that is what he is going to have to do tonight against Goldberg."

(Goldberg appears on the entrance screen as security knocks on his dressing room door and he comes tearing out of it. The crowd slowly builds as Goldberg brings himself slowly to the ring. The camera quickly goes to Jericho in the ring as he looks a little intimidated by the intense Goldberg as we see him smacking himself before he finally comes out on the stage. Goldberg takes his usual few steps forward as he becomes engulfed in the pyros. He comes roaring out like a bull as he blows smoke from his nose. He points at Jericho and yells and heads to the ring)

JR: "It looks to me by the look on his face, Jericho isn't too sure about himself now

King: "JR, I have to believe Goldberg has the most intimidating entrance in the history of wrestling and he has probably won many matches because of the intimidation factor he has."

Goldberg VS Chris Jericho

Brains over Braun

The beginning of the match saw Jericho use his ring savvy to his advantage by using the referee as a buffer to separate himself from the relentless Goldberg. After a series of shoulder blocks from Goldberg in the corner, Jericho begged the referee to break up the two since they were in the ring ropes. As the referee tried to pull off the pit bull-like Goldberg, Jericho took advantage of the situation with a quick one-finger poke to the left eye of Goldberg. Then following up with a quick chop block to the back of the knee, Jericho used his superior mat skills as he worked over the injured knee.

You Pissed Him Off

After four to five minutes of constant abuse on the knee, Jericho made the mistake of allowing Goldberg back to a vertical base as he tried to more less show he was man enough to go toe to toe with him. After gaining confidence with a series of different kinds of kick, flooring Goldberg each time only to have him get right back up, Jericho decided to go for a bigger move and come off the ropes with some type of maneuvers. The move attempt never materialized as Goldberg used Jericho's momentum and delivered a ring-shaking quick power slam that almost got a three count. As Jericho returned to his feet, he got caught by a Judo kick from Goldberg sending him crashing into the corner. With Jericho dazed in the corner, Goldberg signaled to the crowd for the spear attempt and calmly waited for Jericho to stagger to the middle of the ring. As Goldberg started his charge, Jericho saw it and quickly dropped down and rolled out of the ring but Goldberg was able to stop in time before crashing into the corner. As Jericho cockily pointed as his brains on the outside, teasing the fans, Goldberg reached through the ropes and snatched Jericho by his hair and pulls him back in the ring.

Super Clash Bound

After a series of forearms to the back, Goldberg picks up Jericho with ease and Gorilla presses him in the air and sends him crashing into the mat face first. As Jericho rolls on the mat holding his chest, Goldberg once against readies himself in the corner prepared to unleash the Spear. Jericho stands up again and once again gets out of the way again but this time Goldberg goes crashing into the turnbuckles. He staggers out and Jericho jumps up and hits the Codebreaker. With Goldberg hurt, Jericho decides he wants to win convincingly and catapults himself off the ring ropes for the Lionsault but comes down on Goldberg knees as Bill gets them out in the nick of time. This is the time Goldberg needs as he is the first one to his feet and as soon as Jericho gets up, SPEAR!!!!. Jericho is bent up like an accordion from the impact as Goldberg hooks the leg and gets the win,.

JR: "GOLDBERG IS GOING TO THE MAIN EVENT AT SUPER CLASH '09!"

JR: "I don't know if he had Goldberg beat after the Codebreaker, but it looked like he was in trouble. Jericho took his eye of the prize and Goldberg made him pay for it."

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

(We come back from break and are shown a promo of Mohammed Hassan and his manager Hazeem Ali at the Fourth of July fireworks in Memphis insulting fans as he condemns Americans for the actions of torture to innocent Muslin people. The two stand on top of a van with megaphones as the crowd around them gathers as they talk about their time in Guantanamo Bay. Finally security arrives and ceases the demonstration as fans in the crowd start pelting the two for real with various trash items. We go back to the ring)

JR: "What a despicable showing from Hassan and Ali on our Country's birthday. By the look of things in that video, they are lucky that security got there when they did because what ever happened to them at Guantanamo Bay would have been nothing if that Memphis mob got a hold of them last night."

King: " I know America is the land of free speech but that kind of stuff is on-called for and I wished that the crowd did get to them and maybe they would finally shut up or at least back their talk up a bit."

JR: "We're going to go to Christy Hemme now, who is backstage with one of tonight's competitors, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair."

(We go backstage as Hemme is now taking over backstage duties after her one a night ring girl appearance. Flair is standing beside her as he has broke out one of the classic "Nature Boy' robes and looks ready for action)

Hemme: "The last few weeks, Ric, we have heard you talk about that you wanted one more reign as a world champion. That you thought even at your age, you still can be the best in the business. We heard earlier that you are going to get a chance but your opponent tonight is still a mystery. What do you think about this situation?"

Flair: "Christy, BABY! The Naitch don't care who this mystery man is, I just know whoever it is...WOOOOOOOOOOO!!! THEY AREN'T GOING TO BEAT THE NATURE BOY TONIGHT!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

!!!!!

Hemme: "Since you are so confident about tonight, let me ask you another question. There has been rumors backstage that you are looking to reassemble a Four Horseman group and their have been a lot of names rumored as possibilities. Do you have any kind of announcement to make on the subject."

Flair: "Well, honey, probably when you were just a twinkle in your daddy's eye, The Four Horseman ruled the wrestling world. Ric Flair, Ole Anderson, "Double A" Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard kicked ass and took names, we were jet flying, limo driving, kiss stealing, son of guns and we were the best thing going back then. After that, Horseman have come and gone but the domination of the Horseman continued. A Horseman group is always something that is in back of my mind. If a new Four Horseman can help me become Triple Crown Champion, without a doubt you'll see it. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

(Hemme gets ready to ask another question when the Skyscrapers, Sid Vicious and Matt Morgan enter the frame and Sid takes her mic)

Sid: "I'm glad to hear that Ric, because as a former member of the Four Horseman myself. I would like to offer our services as the two newest members. What do you say?"

Ric: "Whoooaaaa there, big fella. I'm not making any decisions tonight. I know me and you have history, some good and some bad but don't think that helps you jump in the front of the line. Now you and your partner here have been impressive lately but you haven't impressed me on the level of Four Horseman material."

Sid: "Ohhh, is that so...YOU need US to prove ourselves..I can live with that....C'mon Matt."

(Sid taps Matt on the shoulder as Flair looks at Hemme apologetically as the two big men leave and we go back to the ring)

JR: "That was surely interested...The Skyscrapers more less jumping at the bit to become Horseman and I'm quite shocked Flair turned them away for now especially with such an important match later.'

King: "I have to agree because I"m speechless that Flair didn't at least just use them to help him later but what if either Sid or Matt is Flair's mystery opponent later."

JR: "That would definitely be an interesting turn of events but we will have to wait later to find out. Look our next ring girl, Kristal Marshall is in the ring so our next match must be ready to start."

King: "Shut up, JR, I need to pay attention to Kristal."

(Kristal looks beautiful as she dances around the ring with her mic in hand and finally stops and is ready to announce the next qualifying match. The crowd erupts as Kurt Angle's music hits and the former Olympian appears with his trademark US Flag wrestling gear on. He comes down to the ring high fiving fans on his way down before finally getting the ring as the applause dies down.)

JR: "It looks like Angle is enjoying this weekend as a former US Olympian, I would think the Fourth of July holiday holds a special place in his heart and a win here tonight to go to the main event at Super Clash would be the best way to end this weekend."

King: "Angle, I know, is dying to get to Super Clash especially losing to Stone Cold in the main event last year. Deep down, I know that eats away at Kurt because he is such a competitor."

(The crowd boos as Jeff Jarrett appears with guitar in hand and makes his way to the ring. Half-way down the ramp Jarrett gets into it with a crowd after he splashes some kind of liquid on JJ. He is visibly upset as he enters the ring and points over at Angle as he lays down the guitar)

JR: " I think the fan got under Jarrett's skin a bit as he looks pretty mad in there, King. He better calm down a bit because one mistake against Angle and it could be over quickly."

King: "They better have kicked that fan out. There is NO REASON a fan should be assaulting a wrestler in any way especially before a match of this magnitude. I hope Jarrett can pull himself together and concentrate on the task at hand."

Jeff Jarrett VS Kurt Angle

OHHHHH MY

Angle goes to one knee for a quick prayer as the bell rings and an enraged Jarrett comes charging over to get some early shots in on the unexpected Angle. But Angle side steps out of the way and pushes Jarrett through the turnbuckles as he goes shoulder first into the ring post. Jarrett gets up holding his shoulder and staggers out and is caught by Angle. Angle picks up Jarrett and hits an OLYMPIC SLAM and quickly locks in the Angle Lock before Jeff knows what has hit him. Jarrett quickly taps out as Angle picks up the win without even working up a sweat.

King: "You might be impressed, JR but an assist has to go too that fan that splashed Jarrett on his way to ringside. I think if that didn't happen, this would have been a totally different match."

JR: "It doesn't matter how, it only matters that Angle will face Stone Cold and Goldberg at Super Clash."

King: "But who will be the other three to join them later tonight

(Before we go to commercial we see Angle celebrating with crowd members at ringside as he poses for pictures in his Flag attire)

-COMMERCIAL BREAK----

(We come back from break and are in the locker room of Brock Lesnar, where he and his manager, Rick Rude is preparing for his match next. We listen in as Rude is psyching him up)

Rude: "Listen Brock, this is what we have been waiting for the chance at Stone Cold Steve Austin."

(Loud Grunt)

(Loudest Grunt yet)

Rude: "I know that Cornette put you in a match tonight against your former college teammate, Shelton Benjamin and that might make you relax a little but trust me, Scott Steiner right now is telling him to destroy you. You need to put your friendship tonight and destroy Shelton. Because if you don't destroy Shelton, you don't get your hands on AUSTIN! WHAT DO YOU SAY, BROCK"

(The camera pans toward a vent in the locker room as Lesnar yells the name and when the camera pans back down we are no longer in Lesnar's locker room as we see Shelton Benjamin sitting there with Scott Steiner. Shelton looks shaken as Lesnar's screams of destroying him is heard throughout the ventilation system)

Shelton: "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? HE SOUNDS LIKE A FRICKIN MAD MAN OVER THERE, SCOTTY"

Steiner: "Don't ya worry about that, Shelton. Rude is getting that idiot all worked up because he is worried about you."

Shelton: "Sure in the hell, doesn't sound like he is worried, it sounds like he is ready to kill me. I know one thing, Scotty, Shelton isn't going out like that"

(Shelton gets up to leave but Steiner shoves him back down on the bench)

Scotty: "Don't worry about nothin' Shelton. I have the perfect game plan for ya. You are going to go in there and just overpower Lesnar, I want you to throw him around the ring like nobody has ever done before. I want you toooo.....

(Shelton interrupts)

Shelton: "What the hell are you talking about? Don't you realize I"m wrestling Brock Lesnar, there is no way I'm going to overpower him in anything, Scotty. Wouldn't it be better if I relied on my quickness and agility advantage and try to keep him off guard....."

(Steiner cuts him off)

Steiner: "EXACTAMUNDO!!! Shelton, that is what he is going to expect you do too, so you do what I"m telling you and he will never know what hit him. You have to be smarter then that my black brotha."

Shelton:" WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME? YOUR BLACK BROTHA? MAN, YOU'RE TRIPPIN MORE THEN USUAL."

Steiner: "What I can't call you my brotha. Hell, Shelton, I'm more black then you are. Get your stuff and lets go too the ring."

(Shelton shakes his head at Steiner's comments and picks up his towel as he follows Steiner out of the room. We then go back to ringside)

JR:"I like to thank the camera crew for that look behind the scenes as we get a glimpse of both me getting ready for this important match-up. It was an interesting contrast in styles by Rude and Steiner to get their man ready, to say the least, King."

King: "I think poor Shelton, is more confused after the Steiner pep talk then he was before, JR;"

(The King and JR laugh as we see Ashley Massaro now being the Ring Girl. She does her laps as the crowd goes wild and she then starts her introductions. Music hits as Brock Lesnar and Rick Rude appear together to the biggest heat of the night from the crowd. Lesnar looks like Rude's pet pit bull as he leads him to the ring and stands in front of him, giving him last minute instructions as Lesnar is chomping at the bit for a piece of someone.)

(Music hits as Shelton Benjamin and Scott Steiner make their way. Shelton looks like he really doesn't want this match with Lesnar in this kind of mental state and turns around and tries to leave but Steiner grabs him. The two yell at each other as finally Steiner talks him into it and Shelton sheepishly gets in the ring. He looks over at Brock, who stars slapping himself in the face. He glances a worried look to Steiner as the bell rings)

Brock Lesnar VS Shelton Benjamin

Look At Me. I'm Winning

Brock comes bursting out of the corner straight at Shelton, who leap frogs over him and catches Lesnar with a sunset flip for a near fall. Shelton beats him to his feet and catches him with a drop kick to the face and gets another near fall before Lesnar shoves him off powerfully. Shelton shocks everyone with controlling the match for the opening minutes by using an array of aerial moves and tying Lesnar up on the mat with a serious of arm bars and leg grapevines. After a beautiful jumping back elbow catches Lesnar on the chin, Shelton celebrates but quickly Steiner jumps up on the apron and starts arguing with his pupil. They are screaming as Steiner tells him to go to the game plan he mapped out earlier. Benjamin hangs his head and goes over and hooks Lesnar up for a suplex but Lesnar blocks it and reverses it into a face buster, driving Benjamin straight into the mat.

Black and Blue

From that point, Lesnar threw Benjamin around the ring like a rag doll. Showing off his knowledge of all different kinds of suplexes, Shelton probably landed on every square foot of the ring at one time or another. Steiner is beside himself as each time, Shelton tries to retaliate with punches or kicks, Lesnar takes it all with a smile on his face. Finally, Lesnar looks like he wants to take a break as he easily tosses Shelton over the top rope to the floor and laughs at his former friend as he is sprawled out motionless. The referee starts to count and it looks like Lesnar will win via count out as Shelton isn't moving until Steiner more less picks up Shelton and slides him back in under the bottom rope to save the match. Lesnar laughs at Shelton and hip tosses him from one corner to the other. Finally Steiner, jumps up on the apron and gets in the face of Lesnar. The two argue as the ref tries to get Scotty down but to no prevail. Rude makes his way over and grabs Steiner only to have Scotty kick him away into the barricade. Seeing his manager go down, Lesnar snatches Steiner and is looking to bring him in the ring but Shelton runs over with a knee and knocks Lesnar into Scotty. Scotty goes crashing to the outside as Lesnar goes down across the ropes.

The Upset?

With Lesnar exposed, Benjamin runs across the ring and leg drops Lesnar throat across the bottom rope. Lesnar is in trouble as in record time, Benjamin leaps to the top rope in one bound. He patiently waits for Lesnar to get up to go for a flying bulldog but when Benjamin leaps Lesnar shows his tremendous strength and catches him in mid-air. Lesnar holds Benjamin like a small child before powering up Benjamin up on his shoulders and hits the F5. Benjamin is motionless in the ring as Lesnar gets the pin fall.

Winner

Brock Lesnar

(Steiner pulls out the lifeless body of Benjamin out of the ring and puts him over his shoulders. Steiner's face is one of disgust as he carries Shelton up the ramp as Rude pats Lesnar on the back for a job well-done in the destruction of his college friend)

JR: "Steiner and Benjamin need to get on the same page. I think Shelton was on his way to a HUGE upset until Steiner got involved. But what a show of strength from Lesnar catching a 240 pound man in mid-air and then throwing up on your shoulders is inhuman."

King;" No matter what Stone Cold says about his opponents, already he has to face three of the toughest opponents he has faced in his career, together in one match. It will be hard enough to survive Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar or Goldberg by themselves but all three men gunning for you in one match, that's IMPOSSIBLE! It doesn't matter who the final two wrestlers are going to be, I'll go on record right now and say there is NO WAY Stone Cold walks out of Super Clash as the champion

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

(We come back from break and we are in Commissioner Cornette's office as we see Jeff Jarrett barging in)

Jarrett: "JIM, JIM, DID YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENED? I DEMAND A REMATCH!!!!

Cornette: "Jeff, calm down. Now I can't give you a rematch.."

(Jarrett isn't pleased as he circles in front of Cornette's desk)

Cornette: "But I was ready to make announcement anyway that concerns you, so I'll tell everybody right now."

Jarrett:"It better be good"

Cornette: 'I've decided since we will have 5 losers tonight, that will be disappointed, hungry and upset about losing their chance, I'm going to give them another. So at Super Clash, the five losers tonight will get the five spots in "The Golden Ticket" ladder match. Whoever wins the "Golden Ticket" will get a title shot anytime he wants for a calendar year but the other four men that doesn't get the Golden Ticket, they will not get any kind of title shot for a whole calendar year. So Jarrett, quit your whining and get out of here."

Jarrett:"Jimmy, I tell you, you are a lucky man. I like that idea and I will prove you right for your decision and win "The Golden Ticket" and then become Triple Crown Champion."

(We return to the ring)

JR: "Wow, Cornette is on a roll as we will have two matches made for Super Clash already by the end of the show tonight. My question for you King after that announcement, is the "Golden Ticket" worth that kind of a risk?"

King: "JR, I've never competed in one but I do know that we have had 4 Golden Tickets matches and each winner has cashed it in and became Triple Crown Champion. But for the other 16 wrestlers that didn't win it, it's a LONG YEAR!

(The two quiet down as Ring Girl, Lena Yada, is now in the ring for the fourth qualifying match. She prances around in her skimpy outfit before grabbing the mic and the crowd boos as the music of Bret "Hitman" Hart starts up and Hart comes popping out back. He makes his way to the ring but the boos get louder as we see the rest of The Hart Attack, Chris Benoit, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson and Teddy Hart following Bret out. Bret gets in the ring and struts to the heat from the fans, he then slides out and a grateful kid gets a free pair of Hitman shades as Hart hands him out and climbs back into the ring to the applause to rest of the Hart Attack on the outside.)

(Hart and his buddies await Sting as they block the entrance ramp as it looks like they are going to jump Sting before the match but when Sting's music hits, the lights in the arena go off. As everybody gasps, the lights turn on and the crowd goes wild as Hart turns around and Sting is already in the ring with baseball bat in hand. The two stare each other down as the crowd is going wild. Then out of nowhere, Commissioner Cornette comes out with security and they trot down to the Hart Attack members at ringside. Under Cornette's direction, security slowly walks the Hart Attack up the ramp and back to backstage area leaving Sting and Hart by themselves)

JR: "A great call by Cornette here, sending Benoit and them back to the locker rooms, there was no way Sting was going to get a fair shake with the four of them out here helping Uncle Bret.

King: "I'm so excited, JR. This is a match against two great competitors, two Hall of Famers, this match could easily headline any pay per view in the world but we have it free here on Adrenaline Rush this week. THIS IS GREAT!!!

Bret Hart VS Sting

Legends Meet

Even though Hart has been a long-time heel in WCCW, he has his share of loyal fans as the crowd chants back and forth in favor of Hart and Sting. The two legends circle each other, looking for any kind of opening. Hart quickly shoots in on Sting and gets his left leg, a sweep with the right, sends Sting to the canvas, quickly though Sting grabs one of Hart's leg and sends him down with him.The both get up and Sting arm drags Hart over, Hart gets up and this time arm drags Sting. The lock up and Hart gets Sting in a headlock but Sting quickly breaks free sending Hart in the ropes. As Hart comes off both men have the same idea as they both hit with clothesline attempts as both men are down in the middle of the ring.

Turn Back the Clock

Hart gets the best of Sting and catches him with a swinging neck breaker as he takes control of the match focusing on the Stinger's back. Hart puts on a submission wrestling clinic as Sting's strength is sapped as Hart makes Sting break loose of a Boston Crab, Camel Clutch and two Abdominal Stretches. Sting's back is in terrible shape as Hart hits a perfect back breaker right over his knee and gets a near fall. The fans are restless as it looks like Sting is making a comeback only to see a back body drop by Hart send him crashing back down on the injured back and Hart grounds him on the back with a Bear Hug like maneuver keeping the pressure on the injured back.

Super Clash Bound

After hitting an inverted atomic drop following by a jumping clothesline off the ropes, Hart looks like he is on the verge of victory as he climbs to the second rope for his signature elbow drop. The crowd tries to rally behind Sting as Hart leaps and it works as Sting moves out of the way and Bret eats the canvas instead. Sting has new life as the crowd is revving him back up. A series of chops by Sting sends Hart reeling into the corner as Sting then runs in and hits a clothesline and as Hart staggers out he hits the Scorpion Death drop. The crowd goes wild as Sting goes for the quick cover but Hart stops the count as he hangs his foot under the bottom rope. Sting doesn't seem phased by it as he picks Hart up and delivers a body slam and then comes up the rope with a knee to the forehead. Sting grabs Hart by the hair and pulls him back up, hitting him with fists along the way and Irish whips Hart into the corner. Everybody in the crowd is standing as Sting runs across the ring and jumps and hits the Scorpion Splash. Sting yells to the crowd as he grabs Hart and looks to lock in the Scorpion Death lock. He uses the cheers of the crowd to fight Hart and finally turns him over. Hart screams out in pain as Sting cinches back increasing the pressure. Miles from the ropes, Hart looks on the verge of tapping out when all of a sudden he is able to grab one of Sting's heels. Pulling on the heel with all his strength while pushing off with his legs too, Hart is able to break the hold sending Sting to the mat, then somehow quickly Hart is able to hook in the SHARPSHOOTER. Sting though is close to the ropes and reaches for it but Hart instinctively pulls him away to the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers Sting on as he once again gets on his hands and starts walking on them back to the ropes. Sting is almost there when he collapses to the mat. The referee checks the arm of Sting and to the dismay of the roaring crowd it drops a third time and Hart is declared the winner by submission.

JR: "People say these two best days are behind them but let me tell you what, that was one helluva match. That match showed how important Super Clash is as Sting never gave up and passed out from the pain instead of giving up his chance himself."

King: "You think it's brave, JR, I think it was stupid. He should have tapped out and saved himself the possible injury and go into the Golden Ticket match as one of the clear favorites but now who knows what kind of condition Sting will be in three weeks from now."

(Bret celebrates up the ramp as paramedics run by him to check on the still unconscious Sting in the ring. They are able to revive Sting, who's knee and back is visibly injured as they try to keep him down on the mat. The crowd roars as Sting fights them off and limps to his feet. He limps over to the ropes and points to Hart as he stands on the entrance ramp, proud of himself going to the main event at Super Clash)

COMMERCIAL BREAK

(We come back from commercial and we see Bret Hart backstage as the rest of the Hart Attack meet him)

Teddy: "I just saw somebody and I couldn't believe it. He has to be Cornette's mystery man. Trust me, Uncle Bret, you won't believe it either."

(Teddy whispers the name in Hart's ear and his expression shows concern)

Hart: "Chris, is Teddy right or is he hallucinating, who know how he likes to celebrate? There is no way that they will let that maniac anywhere toward the main event at Super Clash."

(Teddy is put off by his uncle's comment but Bret gives him an ugly look as Smith and Wilson stand by)

Benoit: "No, Bret, the kid is right, I saw him myself. I tried to get a word with him but Cornette has tight security around him as he didn't want it to leak out. If Teddy was outside for his recreational time, we would have never knew it."

Hart: "Recreational Time? I don't want to even ask?"

(Hart shakes his head at Teddy, who shrugs his shoulders in a plea of innocence)

Hart: "Well, we need to talk to him. If we can get him to work with me and take out everybody else at Super Clash, it would better the odds of becoming champion for the both of us. Try your damnest to get a minute with him, Chris."

Benoit: "I'll try my best but I can't promise anything."

Hart: "You're the only one I can trust with something so important."

(Bret looks disgustingly again at the three young members as you catch a glimpse of resentment from Teddy for Benoit. We go back to the ring.)

JR: "The mystery man is here and by what I can get out of that, The Hart Attack knows him and probably knows him quite well."

King: "That doesn't really cut down the possibilities, JR. Everybody in professional wrestling knows the Harts. But whoever it is they better start worrying about Ric Flair because that is a man on a mission."

"KEENNNNNNNNNNNNNEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDY..... AND.......M........V........P......!!!!! blasts threw the pa system as we see the two members of "Loud & Proud" Mr. Kennedy and "MVP" Antonio Bank coming down to ringside each in tailor made suits as they look like they have something very important to say to the capacity crowd.

JR: "It looks like we have been rudely interrupted by the former World Tag Team Champions, Loud & Proud and if any team has ever lived up to their name it is definitely these two.

King: "I don't know why you hate these guys so much, JR. They are just confident, I mean they talk A LOT but they do back it up most of time."

(The two look smug in the ring as the crowd gives them tremendous heat. The crowd breaks out "YOU SUCK" chant as MVP and Kennedy mocks them in the ring. laughing at the chant. Finally the crowd dies down as MVP has the mic)

MVP: "It's about time, all you haters, shut the hell up and listen to what we got to say.!

(Crowd boos)

(Kennedy mocks a yawn as MVP shakes his head in agreement as the crowd continues their chants)

MVP: "Look at your tag team champions, Beer Money (pop). You people like them because James Storm is a hometown boy from here in Tennessee and drinks beer and walks around in his cowboy hat like he's somebody important. Trust me, James Storm is a CHUMP!"

(heat)

MVP: "I can take any of you in the crowd to where I grew up in Compton and none of ya would last 5 minutes on the street. GUARANTEED...TELL THEM KENNEDY!!!!

Kennedy: "Well, I don't come from Compton but I come from GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN BAY, Wisconsin and I have to say, none of these hillbillies would last up there either, Antonio. But enough of spending time on these worthless fans, we are going to get to the reason, we came out here. We came out here tonight, to save you people and Adrenaline Rush from the boredom of Beer Money being World Tag Team Champions. So since, Cornette is making all matches for Super Clash, we want to come out here and challenge Beer Money for the titles.!!!

MVP: HOW ABOUT THAT!!!!

(The two egg on the fans on as finally Cornette comes out on the entrance ramp)

Cornette: "Although, I don't agree with your methods, you two have a point. Love ya or hate ya, you boys are entertaining and talented. I have no problem giving you guys a title match at Super Clash. YOU'RE ON!!!!

(Kennedy and MVP clap Jim's decision as the crowd cheers)

Cornette: "But I have to tell you one thing, the match might not be against Beer Money though because on "Throwdown" this Thursday they will be defending their title against members of the Hart Attack. But whoever the champs are, they will be facing the two of you at Super Clash.!"

(Kennedy and Banks seem okay with the scenario as they pose for the crowd as the boo and signal for the camera that they will be the new tag team champions before we head for commercial)

COMMERCIAL BREAK

(We come back to the ringside to JR and The King)

King: "Well, Cornette has been a busy man tonight as he has made three matches for Super Clash as well as the matches for "Throwdown" this Thursday."

JR: "Yeah, I just got word, that to go along with just named World Tag Team Title match, on Throwdown we will also have AJ Styles in action against the American Champion, Sean O'Haire AND Christopher Daniels in a 1 on 2 handicap match. Then to top it off we are going to have a special tag team match as Triple Crown Contenders, Brock Lesnar & Bret Hart will team up to face Kurt Angle & Goldberg with Triple Crown Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin as special referee."

King: "With all these great matches, you can tell JR, we are on our way to Super Clash!!

(The two quiet as Traci Brooks and Lauren Brook in bikinis are in the ring as the last Ring Girls of the night, they do their number to the roar of the crowd before Traci gets the mic and introduces the Nature Boy. Flair appears in all his glory, decked out in his famous pink hand-made robe and struts and woos his way to the ring. A group of men in the front row, bow down to Naitch as he walks around the ring and walks up the steps. He struts his way to the middle of the ring and calls for Brooks to come over. Flair says something to her as she giggles and pulls the rope of him as Flair struts to one side of the ring to the other. Finally the theatrics are over as the music cuts off.)

JR: "It's been 30 years King but every time Flair comes down the ramp with that kind of entrance, i get goosebumps. When you see that coming out, you know something big is happening."

(Although everybody is shocked, Flair seems unphased as he stares intensely at Pillman as he walks down the ramp. Lauren introduces him to the few people that don't know who he is. Pillman looks crazy as ever as he slithers under the bottom rope. He can't even get his jean jacket off though before Flair attacks)

Ric Flair VS Brian Pillman

WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Flair sends Pillman down with a chop, then follows it with another one before Pillman retreats to the corner. Flair though follows with another series of chops and a right when the ref turns around, Flair gets in a two finger poke to the eyes before snap maring Pillman over and locking in a chin-lock. Flair, Hart and Sting must be sharing the same water supply as Flair looks better then ever as he controls Pillman and the momentum of the match. Flair whips Pillman into the corner and lights him up again with chops as the camera shows welts appearing across Brian's chest. Flair hits one so hard Pillman's legs come of the ground but Pillman suddenly starts biting Flair in the forehead and the nose. Flair goes down as the referee tries to pull the crazy Pillman off. He finally succeeds as the crazed look has transformed across Pillman's face and we see Flair bleeding now heavily.

BLOOD BATH

With Flair bleeding, Pillman is an animal on the attack as he sends a flurry of short quick fists into the forehead opening the wound further before gouging his fingers into it and ripping it at before the referee warns DQ again. Flair falls helplessly to the mat as Pillman laughs over him. Pillman tosses Flair through the ropes and to the floor and follows him to the outside. He takes Flair by the back of the neck and drives him face first into the steel post. Flair falls against the steps as the cameraman zooms in on the nasty cut of the forehead. Pillman again risks DQ by grabbing the same cameraman's cord and wraps it around Flair's neck. Flair pulls at the cable desperately with his fingers as the air is being choked out of him as Pillman finally releases him after the referee's last chance warning. Pillman looks pleased as he picks up Natich and drops him face first across the barricade holding the fans back. Pillman mocks the guys that bowed for Flair at the beginning as he picks up Flair and hits another big punch to the wound as Flair's blood spatters onto Pillman's body. Pillman has the look of a lunatic as he rolls Flair back into the ring.

HELL BREAKS LOOSE

Pillman whips Flair into the corner only to have Flair stagger out of it and drop face first onto the mat on his own after throwing errant punches that catch only air. Pillman laughs as he mocks the Flair friendly crowd as he drags Flair up again as Flair claws his way back up to his feet only to catch a European uppercut sending him back down to the mat quickly. Pillman signals it's over as he picks up Flair and tries to cinch in the Spike DDT, but he struggles to get the lifeless body of Flair to stand on his own two feet and as Flair falls down again, he connects on a LOW BLOW. The referee doesn't see it as Pillman goes down, clutching the family jewels as the crowd tries to bring Flair back to life. Flair struggles to pull himself up with help from the ropes and finally does and catches Pillman with a loud chop. Pillman's body shows the impact of the chop as it sends a shock wave of pain through his body. Flair tries it again and connects but on a third attempt, Pillman gets in a rake of the eyes and reverses Flair into the corner and connects with a series of chops of his own. Pillman then quickly cinches in the DDT but before he is able to follow through, Flair pushes off the bottom turnbuckle and drives Pillman back. The back of Pillman's head connects with the referee's face as the REF GOES DOWN. All three men are laid out as a roar comes through the crowd as we see Sid Vicious and Matt Morgan chugging out to ringside. The two giants get in the ring and survey the damage. A hush goes through the arena as Sid looks down at Flair and people worry about who he is going to attack until finally Sid picks up Pillman instead. Sid holds Pillman up and calls for Morgan. Morgan comes off the ropes with a big boot but Pillman is able to duck and he catches Sid instead. The impact sends Sid out of the ring and Morgan is upset. Morgan throws a fit as he waits for Pillman to get up. Pillman finally does as Morgan charges full force at him going for a clothesline but Pillman ducks again and Morgan almost decapitates Flair, who just stood up, instead. Morgan doesn't know what to do as the referee starts to stir and he quickly decides to exit the ring. A tired Pillman crawls over to Flair and drapes an arm over him, the groggy ref counts to three as the crowd erupts in disappointment,

ECW "NO LIMITS" PREVIEW

After World Class's announcement of their "historic" main event for Super Clash '09, "The Ringmaster of the Extreme Circus", Jake "The Snake" Roberts has vowed to not be outdone. It has been reported that top ECW stars such as Scott Hall, Booker T, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas and even RVD have approached Roberts about challenging Eddie Guerrero for the ECW World Title and the biggest show of the year in professional wrestling. Roberts has promised to make his announcement, just a mere 19 days away from Super Clash!

Opening promo: Nice Cornette lines to set the deal. I don't exactly dig a multiman match for what seems to be your biggest show ever but the way Cornette justifed makes it logical and in kayfabe it makes a lot of sense. Stone Cold was very in character but I didn't enjoy the change in character Cornette seemed to had, from normal GM to coward in the face of Stone Cold. The matches you announced were good, altough I question the booking of a heel vs heel match (lesnar vs shelton)

Goldberg vs Chris Jericho: You really build Goldberg's comeback and power in this one. Both men wrestled nicely in their styles and you really showed the styles of both men. Nothing too special or mind blowing in this one but a nice match indeed.

Flair interview: With the first line I thought you were going for "over the top" Flair, which was going to be bad. The rest was pretty good and the premise of Morgan and Sid wanting to be in the Four Horsemen is interesting.

Kurt Angle vs Jarret: Not too much of a match here. Quick job by Jarret that could see the start of a feud between Jarret and the "fan".

Pep talk segment: I thought we were over "monster, not talking Lesnar" at this point in time. Steiner was funny as hell and his exchanges with Shelton were equally funny. You sold the moment great with Jerry Lawler in commentary.

Brock vs Shelton: Kinda the same dynamic you had with Goldberg/Jericho, with the smaller man trying to pull the upset and the monster...well, being a monster and unstoppable. If the ending was intended to responsabilize Steiner for the loss of Shelton, you didn't exactly made that come through.

Jarret/Cornette segment: So the fan thing was just random? Kinda radical about the losers not getting a title match in an entire year.

Sting vs Bret Hart: It was nice to see a chance in the dynamics in the matches. This was the perfect big time match with a big time feel on it. Hart came through as a true in ring general with the variaty of moves he applied when working on Sting with his submissions. The ending with Sting refusing to tap out gives Hart the big victory while still putting over Sting as a babyface.

Hart Attack backstage: Interesting promo that hypes whoever the mistery man could be.

Loud and Proud promo: Too generic for my taste. They never were anything more than two cocky guys in this promo. Wasted opportunity imo. Also, you have used too much Jim Cornette at this point.

Ric Flair vs Brian Pillman: With Pillman's debut, you had me at hello, lol. You emphasized Pillman's crazyness and that was the focus of the match. The blood on the match made it set apart from the rest of the matches and even gave it more main event feel. Morgan fucked up big time and like I said, this Four Hourseman affair will be interesting as it develops.

A good show. I didnt like the Loud and Proud promo as I felt too generic and I think you used Jim Cornette too much. You need to find anoher way to make announcements and make decisions

My Review:

Cornette's Announcement: The promo was quite good here but then I'll agree with CMS here by having a Scramble Match Main Event for your biggest PPV. I know this will make us think if Stone Cold survive and retain his title but I think it will be much better to see Stone Cold in a one on one battle at Superclash.

Jericho vs. Goldberg - I see the past Jericho here with his heelish acts while Goldberg is such an animal by showing his dominance. Good start for your show with a Big Goldberg win. Jericho is lucky he never received a Jackhammer.

Flair and the Skyscrapers - A four horsemen in WCCW should be good, with the mix of rosters you have, I can't think who will fit the position as a horseman. Sid and Matt could be but looks like you are planning for a schedule among them.

Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarett - WOW! I didn't see this coming, after getting splashed by a fan, he got pwned by Angle in less then a minute. Now, I am interested to what will happen to Jarett and maybe that no good fan.

Brock/Rude/Steiner/Shelton: LOL with this promo, Brock is like a robot while Steiner and Shelton's game plan turned into a comedy. I really liked how Shelton portrays here and not a generic one.

Brock/Shelton: Good combo here and you made Shelton try to dominate in the match but then he failed to follow what Steiner told him. Another story here between Shelton and Steiner that will really make us reader tune in.

Jarett and Cornette: Hmmm... a sudden change here. I really thought that fan will turn out to be a wrestler but then Jarett is heading to the Golden Ticket. Nice match up for Super Clash and it makes me think who will be the lucky guy who will win the Ticket after saying that the other losers will never get a title shot in a year.

Sting and Bret Hart - This is way different from the other 3 matches. Nice technical conftontation between the two with a somewhat shocking ending for Sting passing out of the Sharpshooter. Now I want to see Sting win the Ticket :D.

Hart Attack Promo: Interesting segment to hype the mystery guy.

Kennedy/MVP: Good promo but nothing interesting, they just made a challenge against the Beer Money Inc., that's all.

Flair/the mystery guy, Brian Pillman - This main event have something that differs from the other match, HARDCORE BRAWL! Pillman is indeed a mad man here by beating the crap out of Flair. The ending was a bit disappointing by seeing Flair lose without some nice offenses against Pillman and then Sid and Morgan showed that made me think Pillman is the face lol...

Nice show, there are some downs but mostly ups especially when it comes to the progress of your storylines. Some made me wonder who's the heel and the face that give me some interests. Super Clash could be good but I really want to see a single bout for the main event :p.

My Rating: 7/10...
